"The Great Blastboard Chase" is the second segment of the eleventh episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on April 17, 2015 alongside "Adventures in Robot-Pet Sitting".

Plot[]

On Planet Triptor, Miles and Leo are practicing their Blastboard tricks. Miles maneuvers his around different rock fragments, and Leo hops off of his own Blastboard, Moonshredder, through a hole onto the rock fragments before landing back on it. Miles wants to do that trick, but Leo stops him, stating that to pull a stunt like that, he needs a Blastboard like Moonshredder, which has tons of mods. He mentions that mods are short for modifications, things he added himself, and those mods are what make Moonshredder one of a kind. A new one cannot be printed, like Miles' own. Just then, Phoebe calls Leo, who informs her that they found the perfect place to set up the radar station. Miles and Leo then return to Phoebe and Loretta on their Blastboards.

Phoebe learns that this planet gets planetquakes, but there are none so far. Loretta has not felt anything until Miles crash lands, and his Blastboard breaks in half. Miles offers Leo to print a new one, and Leo agrees after they are done setting up the radar station. Miles then heads to Loretta and questions if they can do anything together. Loretta then offers Miles to study some alien writings in caves on another part of the planet. However, Miles refuses the offer and after Loretta leaves, Miles decides to use Moonshredder. When Miles tries to activate it, it speeds out of control, and M.E.R.C. saves him before it goes through the rocks in the cave. Miles and M.E.R.C. follow where the Blastboard went, and see lots of caves. They begin chasing it when they see Loretta studying the alien writings by the Builders. Loretta then tells Miles and M.E.R.C. the direction Moonshredder went, and finds out that the writings have a warning about a Groundshaker.

Miles and M.E.R.C. end up back where they started, and Miles decides to tell Leo what happened. Just as Leo suggests on talking Phoebe on a quick ride on Moonshredder before leaving, Miles tells Leo that he lost it, though he did not mean to and just wanted to try it out. Miles apologizes for his actions, and although Leo did not like Miles not asking permission, he is glad that he told him the truth. Leo then agrees for Miles to do some extra space chores to call it even. The two then focus on finding Moonshredder. Leo tells Miles that Moonshredder has another mod in which it comes back when called, but the transmission does not work. He also reveals that he put a tracking chip on it in case it ever got lost, and Miles, Leo, and M.E.R.C. continue their search.

They locate Moonshredder inside a cave when they feel a planetquake. Miles and Leo decide to tell Admirals Watson and Crick about that when they come back when a Groundshaker appears out of the cave while chewing on Moonshredder. Miles, Leo, and M.E.R.C. hide somewhere so that the Groundshaker does not see them. Loretta tries to call them, but is told to stay quiet. She then informs Miles, Leo, and M.E.R.C. that she understood what the Groundshakers are, and since the one they met is not happy they are on their planet, that was the reason why the Builders left Triptor thousands of years ago. Miles then decides to use his Lazerang to catch the Groundshaker's attention and drop Moonshredder, but the Lazerang actually causes the Groundshaker to head towards them. Leo then calls for Moonshredder and quickly use it to get away from the Groundshaker. When the Groundshaker continues to chase them, Leo tells Miles if he wanted to learn the trick he showed him, and Miles accepts. They hop out of Moonshredder through a hole onto the rock fragments just in time for the Star Jetter to arrive. With that, the Callistos leave Triptor, and Leo calls for Moonshredder to return to him, and when it does, he closes the ship's doors before the ship leaves, angering the Groundshaker in the process.

Phoebe concludes that the Tomorrowland Transit Authority will not be sending the Callistos on another mission to planet Triptor. Miles then tells Leo that he promises to ask before he borrows something, and Leo tells Miles that after finishing his space chores, a new Blastboard will be printed for him, so he will not have to borrow Moonshredder. The two then agree on different mods to it.
