"The Great Chibi Mix-Up!" is the third episode of the Disney Channel series Chibiverse.
Synopsis[]
Phineas and Ferb work with Luz Noceda to try and set things right after Dr. Doofenshmirtz makes all the Chibis forget who their real besties are.[1]
Plot[]
Phineas and Ferb are hosting this episode, and they’re ending the show with a special best friend disco dance-off, a dance party for all best friends! Doofenshmirtz arrives and unveils his Best-Friend-Inator, which he plans to use to find his best friend. He activates it and the beam hits the disco ball, zapping everyone in the audience. At first, nothing seems to have happened, but everyone is best friends with a character from another series: Remy and Scratch, Molly and Sprig, and Cricket and Webby.
After an analysis, they realize the Best-Friend-Inator was supposed to make everyone Doofenshmirtz's best friend as opposed to mixing up best friends due to Doofenshmirtz's skimping on important details, which also causes the Best-Friend-Inator to spontaneously blow up. Phineas an idea and decides to play some chibi shorts to help everyone remember their best friends.
This fails and everyone is still confused as to who they're best friends with. Luckily, Luz Noceda flies by and offers to help them fix the problem. She forms glyphs to cast a spell that will undo the damage, but Doofenshmirtz doodles on one of them to make it look like him. Luz tries to stop him, but is too late as the spell casts. It seems to have worked as everyone remembers their true BFFs. However, now everyone has mixed up body parts. Remy has Gizmoduck's wheel, Molly and Scratch swapped lower bodies, and Anne and Sprig swapped tongues. Doofenshmirtz created another problem, much to Luz's annoyance.
With the Chibiverse falling into complete chaos, they need to find a way to undo this new error. Perry (who Phineas doesn't recognize) hands them a card, instructing them to watch the Hamster and Gretel short, Ice Cream Rewind. That short inspires them to build a Rewindinator to undo it. Phineas reminds Doofenshmirtz not to skimp on any instructions ("Sheesh, you turn everyone into freaks one time and suddenly there's trust issues."). Everyone gets together and builds the Rewindinator and activates it. They go back to the beginning of the show and everyone is back to normal.
The best friend disco dance-off begins with everyone dancing together, except Doofenshmirtz. Perry offers to dance with him and they hit the dance floor. Phineas still doesn't recognize Perry in his fedora.

Trivia[]
- The title card of Quit Bugging Me references how a gag in the short is Sprig accidentally dragging the moon to Amphibia, which is what The Core did in the series finale.
- The title card of Scratch Haunts the Chibiverse is a reference to the song "9 to 5" by Dolly Parton.
- Outside of their original series, this episode features the debut of Penny Proud, Dijonay Jones, Hamster, Gretel Grant-Gomez, Andromeda, Milo Murphy and Zack Underwood in chibi form.
- Hamster and Gretel initially debuted in chibi form in the Chibi Tiny Tales short Hamster & Gretel Ice Cream Mayhem (titled as Ice Cream Rewind in this episode).

Errors[]
- The gargoyles aren't capable of true flight in their show, but when Tilly possesses Demona's body, she's able to do so with ease.
- When everyone announces their new best friends, Cricket goes from standing next to Remy who declares Scratch his best friend to standing next to Webby when he declares her his best friend.
- When Anne and Sprig's tongues got switched, Anne's tongue in Sprig's mouth is the same color as his real one is in Anne's mouth.
