"The Great Outdoors" is the opening song of Country Bear Vacation Hoedown, the discontinued seasonal overlay of Country Bear Jamboree. It is sung by the Five Bear Rugs, Henry, and Melvin, Buff, and Max.
This song was also featured in the Disneyland Fun Sing-Along Songs music video, where it was sung by Shaker, Wendell, and Liver Lips as they played with the children on Tom Sawyer Island, making it the only song from a seasonal overlay to appear in the volume.
