"The Greatest Concert Ever" is the second segment of the third episode of the Disney Channel animated series, The Ghost and Molly McGee.
On October 6, 2021, the episode was released early on Disney+.
Synopsis
Molly must find a band to play the first concert at Brighton’s new Bandshell.
Plot
The McGees try to audition people to play at the newly rebuilt bandshell, but all of them are less than ideal. Darryl in the meantime is listening to his favorite K-Pop group Atomic Pink. Molly believes that they should get someone who greatly represents Brighton and settles on country megastar Kenny Star who is self described as an "ordinary guy". Overnight, Molly managed to meticulously charter where Kenny is headed and makes plans for them to go and impede his tour bus before he reaches Cleveland. As they leave to go and find him, Molly lets slip about Kenny Star, leading everyone in Brighton to spread the word around town and joyously await Kenny's arrival.
The McGees make it to a gas station where his bus is believed to make a quick stop. Scratch gloats when he does not see him, but Kenny's bus suddenly pulls up. Kenny exits and Molly makes a heartfelt plea to him for him to come to Brighton and perform at the newly rebuilt bandshell. Kenny is touched, but reveals that he is not actually Kenny; he is his stunt double. The real Kenny, contrary to his self description, is a glamour obsessed superstar who is taking a private jet to Cleveland. The McGees are shattered and decide to head back home. Scratch gloats at first, but is suddenly overcome with his empathy and decides to chase after the jet, only for it to fly beyond his reach.
Scratch spots a random tour bus on the ground and abruptly possesses the driver and takes over. The McGees return to Brighton and see a large crowd gathered around the bandshell. Molly reluctantly goes up to give everyone the bad news. As she stalls, Scratch recklessly drives the bus through corn patches before crashing it into the bandshell. Molly plays along and it is revealed that the tour bus belongs to Atomic Pink. The band members get off and perform regardless as Darryl hops on stage to dance with them. While confused, the people of Brighton begin to enjoy the groups presence while Molly thanks Scratch for helping her out despite him claiming that he considers himself "McGee-adjacent".

Trivia
- This episode follows directly from the events of the previous episode.
- It is implied that Sharon once aimed to be a musician, but that her dreams were crushed.
- Scratch refers to Cleveland as "The Land of Cleve". A similar gag was used in The Fairly Odd Parents.
- The episode initially called for Brad Paisley and BTS (called BTZ in the episode notes). Paisley would have outright turned down the McGees and when BTS played in Brighton, Paisley would have changed his mind in the end.[1]
- Kenny Star is named after real life country musician Kenny Starr who had a very short career in the 70's.
