"The Hole...Lotta Nuthin'" is an episode of Wander Over Yonder.
Synopsis[]
When Wander uses his finger to plug up a black hole, he trusts Sylvia to keep it plugged until she returns with something to seal it. But doing so causes a lot of trouble for him, from getting hungry, tired and having to put up with Lord Hater's insults.
Plot[]
Wander and Sylvia are on a planet with a black hole on it sucking everything in. Wander falls back and ends up plugging it with his finger. However, the two realize that they need to keep it plugged in order to keep it safe and Wander tries to use a variety of objects from his hat, but with no luck. Sylvia tells Wander to stay put and keep it plugged until she comes back with a more viable solution. Wander, left alone with nothing to interact with, starts to get bored and needs something to sit on. He pulls a rock with his foot, crushing it in the process, but manages to secure it for himself. He nods off to sleep, but this causes the hole to stretch open and Wander nearly gets sucked in, but replugs it.
Wander begins to starve and tries to ignore his stomach, but spots an apple in a tree floating on some debris in the atmosphere. He tosses a rock up at it, but the rock floats off into space. He decides to use the black hole to suck the apple in his direction and ends up sucking the whole tree through the black hole. The apple manages to land near him, but when he tries to reach it with his foot, he kicks it into the direction of Lord Hater who takes the apple and bites into it. Seeing Wander in this predicament fills Hater with glee as he proceeds to mock and make fun of him as Wander is once again oblivious to Hater's animosity towards him.
After Hater feigns a phone call to Sylvia by claiming that she hates him, Wander begins to cry and Hater pretends that he will change his ways if Wander gives him a hug, which he cannot do. Wander is emotionally defeated when Hater tells him that he cannot even help anyone. When he mockingly tells him that "it never hurts to help," Wander realizes that he is technically helping by plugging the hole and thanks Hater for reminding him. Hater becomes furious and yanks Wander's finger out of the black hole, only to find himself in the same predicament with Wander returning the favor, much to his horror. Sometime later, Hater is fitted with a mechanical arm as Commander Peepers berates him with the fact that he could have just ignored Wander. Back on the planet, Sylvia finally returns to discover that Hater cut his arm off to plug the hole and escape Wander.
