"The Knights of Gummadoon" is the twenty-eighth episode of the Adventures of the Gummi Bears. It premiered on December 5, 1987, and is the seventh episode of the third season.
Plot[]
When the fabled castle of the knights of Gummadoon appears, Cavin is imprisoned as a spy.
While Cubbi finally receives his chance to be knighted by Gummi royalty, the Gummies only have until sunset to rescue their human friend, as the castle only appears for one full day every hundred years.
But they also have to contend with Duke Igthorn and his Ogres, who plan to conquer the castle.

- Even though Cubbi plays a major role in the episode, his voice artist, Noelle North, goes uncredited.
- This episode marks Cavin's only appearance in the third season, and the only time that he is voiced by David Faustino.
- This episode reveals that Gummiberry Juice has the same effect on Ogres, that it has on humans; namely temporary super strength.
- Igthorn's Defeat: Is thrown out of Gummadoon Castle by Cavin after the latter drinks Gummiberry juice.
Goofs[]
- Toadie and one of the big Ogres' colors briefly switch, as Cubbi and Cavin wake up from their artificially induced slumber. Toadie turns a darker green, and his shoulder-fur changes from green to orange, whereas the big Ogre (likely Zook) turns a lighter green, with darker green fur.
