Synopsis[]
Mission Force One works to save a powerful android from Nemesystems.
Plot[]
On Planet Ephesus, the Cocoros are playing with each other when they see something strange up ahead. They then play with it, and one of them presses a button that activates an old machine. The machine then sends out a signal.
Back in the Zenith, Zeno informs Mission Force One to head to the bridge, as he picked up a strange signal from Ephesus. Zeno says that the signal was sent from a type of robot that the TTA stopped building many years ago. Loretta knows it as a Guardian, and demonstrates that Guardians were made to build colonies on new planets. They would solidize habitats using nothing but dirt. The thing is, the TTA brought them all back to Tomorrowland a long time ago. However, one was never found until now. The team then decides to find out what made it send out the signal before heading to Ephesus.
Once there, Haruna tracks the Guardian's signal. Blodger finds Cerulean apples when the Guardian appears, and packs a pack of apples to take away. Loretta can't believe Mission Force One found the last Guardian. Haruna wonders what he is doing, picking fruit.
Cocoros then appear out of their dirt homes. Loretta sees that those homes were built for them by the Guardian. The Guardian the plows an entire field with one burst of energy, impressing Mirandos and Miles, which Loretta calls a sonic plow. The Cocoros then plant Cerulean apples. Blodger says that when the sees grow into trees, there will be a whole orchard. To make sure the Guardian is never taken away from the Cocoros, who need him, and since the Guardian is happy to be on Ephesus, Miles has an idea just as the Guardian sends out another signal.
The Nemesystems stormship gets the signal. Aggro tells it to Commander Nemex. Nemex orders Aggro to bring the Guardian to the stormship, which Aggro agrees. Back on Ephesus, after the Guardian makes another dirt home, Miles tells Mission Force One that Admirals Watson and Crick have agreed to let the Guardian stay on Ephesus with the Cocoros. Just then, a Nemesystems thundership arrives. Aggro finds out that Mission Force One has also found the lost Guardian. Nemex wants the Guardian because any robot capable of flattening scenery down to dirt will be very useful in taking over the TTA. Although the Guardian is not a weapon to Mission Force One, the striker bots take the Guardian to the thundership, which then takes off. Mission Force One then heads back to the Zenith, with the Cocoros joining in. The team then suits up for the mission, which is to catch the thundership and get the Guardian back.
The Zenith follows the thundership, and when it gets close, Blodger activates Invisitech. While Loretta takes the controls, Miles decides to go with Haruna, Mirandos, and the Cocoros to drop in on Aggro. They then use their blast pods to break into the thundership. Since Aggro will know Miles, Haruna, and Mirandos are in the engine room any minute, they need to hurry. They decide to take out the engines, with help from the Cocoros, while Miles looks for the Guardian.
Aggro sees the engines being destroyed by Mission Force One, and informs Nemex of such. Nemex decides to bring his stormship to Aggro, and tells Aggro to keep Mission Force One away from the Guardian. Aggro refuses to give the Guardian back, as he is having it reprogrammed. From now on, it will answer only to Aggro. After being acknowledged by Aggro, the Guardian nets Miles' blast shield, but Miles frees himself. Loretta tries to call Miles, since the team has strikeships closing in with Nemex's stormship right behind them. Since Miles needs more time to get the Guardian, Loretta decides for the rest of the team to hold the strikeships off with the shutdown beams.
While the Zenith shuts down some strikeships, Mirandos, Haruna, and the Cocoros finish taking apart the thundership's engines. The Cocoros then head through a vent. Miles is still fighting the Guardian. He thinks about what he should to to power him down, but on orders of Aggro, the Guardian nets him. Just then, the Cocoros appear through the vent. The Cocoros then plead with the Guardian to be their friends again. Miles tells Aggro that the Guardian is a friend to the Cocoros, and a friend can't be reprogrammed. The Guardian then turns friendly to the Cocoros and knocks Aggro away.
With the Nemesystems stormship quickly approaching, the Cocoros get into the Guardian while the Guardian makes an exit. Miles, Haruna, and Mirandos activate their blast jets to escape the stormship. The Zenith picks everyone up. Aggro tries to tell Nemex about the Guardian and also mentions the furry little critters before the call ends.
Back on Ephesus, Miles programs the Guardian so that no one can track its signal. Loretta tells the Guardian that it can live safely with its friends. Miles says that thanks to help from the Cocoros, the Guardian is saved, making it mission accomplished.
