"The Last Mabelcorn" is the 15th episode of the second season of Gravity Falls and the thirty-fifth overall. It premiered on Disney XD on September 7, 2015 and later on Disney Channel on January 22, 2016.
Summary[]
Mabel and her friends venture into the enchanted realm of the unicorns while Dipper discovers something bizarre about the enigmatic Bill Cipher.
Plot[]
In the middle of the night, Ford is asleep when Bill Cipher appears in his dream. Bill reveals he knows about the anomaly and plans to destroy it so he can complete his plan. Upon waking up, Ford realizes Bill was coming and has to warn the family. The next morning, Ford calls a family meeting and learns Dipper and Mabel have encountered Bill before. He decides the prepare a spell that could protect the Mystery Shack from Bill, but needs Unicorn hair to do it, and only someone of pure heart can find them. Mabel volunteers to find the unicorn hair and boasts she had the purest heart in the room. She then sets off with Wendy, Grenda and Candy.
Believing Mabel's success at getting the unicorn hair unlikely, Ford comes up with a backup plan. He takes Dipper to his personal study and reveals a machine that could Bill-proof their minds. Meanwhile in the forest, Mabel and her group find the area where they can find the unicorns and Grenda sings a chant using her deep voice to summon the entrance.

- Moral: There's no such thing as being purely good or purely evil, a person cannot judge your worth by that alone. Life is morally grey and your intentions are what matters.
- It is revealed that Ford once thought that he and Bill were friends and that they design the portal together.
- It is revealed that Bill is from a place called the Nightmare Realm.
- It is revealed Ford had a metal plate imbedded in his head to protect himself from Bill.
- The episode does a Harry Potter reference when Mabel asks if Ford is going to tell them they're old enough to go to wizard school, and she also asks if there's an owl in the bag
- This was the final program to be broadcasted in the Russian Disney Channel, before its shutdown on December 14, 2022. This was followed by a short version of Frozen's "Let It Go", and afterwards, the channel was replaced by "Solntse" (Солнце).
- The title of the episode is a references to the novel The Last Unicorn.
Errors/goofs[]
- The words shown on the computer are misspelled.
- After the girls return to the shack with the unicorn hair, Wendy's left eye is swollen up from fighting the unicorns, as Mabel says to Ford if the Treasure they bought back was ok, Wendy's right eye is swollen up and her left one normal when the episode ends and Stan runs in yelling "money!", it's just her left eye again.
