"The Liberty Story" is an episode of Disneyland, which aired on May 29, 1957.
Synopsis[]
Walt Disney tells the story of two players race to freedom: Johnny Tremain and Amos the mouse, as well as introducing audiences to Liberty Street, an expansion of Disneyland that ended up going unfinished before being revived as Liberty Square.

Trivia[]
- The segment on Ben and Me, with its longer opening delving into Amos' ancestry, later re-aired in color on the 1964 Wonderful World of Color episode Ben and Me/Peter and the Wolf. In the late 1980s, this longer opening was also featured when Ben and Me was released on the Walt Disney Mini Classics line of videos.

The episode accompanied Johnny Tremain on its DVD release in 2005 and has since been made available on various digital storefronts. As of June 12, 2020, it is also available on the Disney+ streaming service.
