The Little Broomstick was a cancelled Disney animated feature film that would have been released in 1980 and it was based on the 1971 novel by British writer, Mary Stewart.
It was instead released under the name Mary and the Witch's Flower in 2017 by Japan-based animation studio Studio Ponoc in conjunction with Toho.
The tale centered on a little girl, Mary, who was led by a black cat. Tib, to discover a magical broomstick that took her to Endor College, a dark and scary training ground for witches.
