"The Little Witch" is the second segment of the eighth episode of Vampirina. It premiered on October 20, 2017 alongside "Hide & Shriek".
Plot[]
Oxana and Boris are preparing the Scare B&B for their most important guests the house has ever had; Alice and Desmond Ravenson, the most bravest witches in Transylvanian history. Boris tells Vampirina that they saved an entire town from an attack of haunted weeds, and he and Oxana tell the story about how it happened. Vampirina is excited to meet them. With Alice and Desmond arriving any minute, Vampirina heads to the roof where Gregoria and Demi tell her that the Ravensons are arriving with their daughter, Phoebe.
The Ravensons are then greeted by the Hauntleys. Oxana thinks Phoebe is very cute. Phoebe can stay and play with Vampirina. While Oxana and Boris show Alice and Desmond around, Vampirina and Phoebe decide to play with the Scream Girl dolls. Demi suggests to go on a ride on a broom before he heads into a closet. Phoebe says that she isn't really good at flying yet. Vampirina decides for them to play Transylvanian tag. Phoebe decides to give it a try, but quickly hides, as she thinks she's a terrible witch. Phoebe says that she's not like her mom and dad at all, and then sings a song about wanting to be a great witch.
Vampirina mentions that she wasn't great at doing vampire things at first, as it took a long time for her to be able to transform into a bat. Phoebe mentions that she tried to turn into a cat many times. Vampirina tells her how she turns into a bat. Phoebe does the same thing, but she doesn't turn into a cat. Gregoria has an idea, and reads that to turn into a cat, spin around three times while holding a sprig of honey root, and say, "Meow". Phoebe does the same thing to no avail. After Phoebe mentions it, Vampirina tells Phoebe that witches are great at spells.
Vampirina decides to pick the honey bunny spell. After being motivated, Phoebe decides to give it a try. She accidentally turns her parents into squirrels, shocking everyone. Phoebe thinks she is the worst witch ever. Vampirina says that Phoebe needs to do a reverse spell. Phoebe attempts to do a reverse spell when Wolfie arrives and chases the squirrels. Gregoria and Demi soon give chase, and Vampirina assumes that things went from bad to batty. Phoebe knows she can do the reverse spell. She first turns into a cat to chase Wolfie away. Oxana and Boris then appear, and are surprised to see Desmond and Alice as squirrels. Phoebe tells them everything that happened. She then turns them back to their normal selves. Phoebe apologizes to her parents for turning them into squirrels, as she was trying to be a great witch like them. Alice and Desmond are proud of Phoebe for everything she's done for them, and she loves her for her. At night, before the Desmonds leave, Phoebe thanks Vampirina for helping her be a great witch, and they'll never forget each other.
