"The Lost Empire" is the second segment of the sixty-third episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on November 13, 2017 alongside "The Junk Monster of Planet Crunkle", and is the second segment of the ninth episode of the third season.

Synopsis[]

Mission Force One and Queen Gemma join forces to save her people from Nemesystems.

Plot[]

Picking up where the previous segment left off, Mission Force One is busy trying to organize the breakfast for Queen Gemma. Mirandos tells Miles that she has been keeping the team busy all morning. Miles assumes that Queen Gemma gets home. Gemma reassures Prince Rygan that she will be back on Planet Dethalia very soon, and Mission Force One will help Gemma reclaim her empire.

Mission Force One then gives Gemma her breakfast. Gemma says that the plan for getting her planet, which is now taken over by Nemesystems, back, she'll need the team's help to get her into her royal palace. Once she is in her palace, she has a little surprise that will stop Nemesystems once and for all. Miles says that the next mission is to sneak onto Dethalia and help Gemma get her empire back. The team then performs their signature catchphrase and activates their recruit suits' mission mode.

The Zenith then heads to Dethalia. Blodger activates Invisitech to get past the strikeships without being seen. Loretta sees three defense orbs, and Mission Force One and Gemma hide from them. They then get to the palace as quickly as they can. Miles sees two control bots standing guard. Gemma says that there is a secret entrance, one that is so secret, that she has no idea where it is.

Just then, two striker bots appear, but are deactivated by two Dethalian guards, who are delighted to see Gemma gain. The guards tell Gemma that everyone is fine, but Commander Nemex won't let anyone inside the hangar, where all of the starships are, so they haven't been able to leave the planet. Gemma says that once she and Mission Force One make it into the palace, Dethalia shall be reclaimed again. The guards then take everyone to the secret entrance.

Gemma then presses the stone, activating a trap door that leads to the palace. Gemma then starts to lead Mission Force One to the throne room when a control bot appears. M.E.R.C. takes Gemma for a ride. When more control bots appear, Miles uses his blast shield to deflect the trap coils while Mirandos and Haruna and use their techstops. Blodger goes low to dodge the control bots and uses his techstop to shut another control bot. Loretta does the same for one more, and Miles deactivates three more. When a control bot traps Mirandos, Loretta, Haruna, and Blodger, Gemma and M.E.R.C. appear, and Gemma uses her scepter to disable the control bot. Gemma tells Mission Force One that a queen never reveals her secrets.

Once everyone is in the throne room, they are shocked, especially Gemma, to see Nemex and Aggro. Nemex applauds Gemma and Mission Force One for making it that far, but is afraid that their only choice now is to surrender. Miles and Haruna tell Nemex that Dethalia does not belong to him. Gemma states that her palace has a few surprise that Aggro doesn't know about. She activates the controls that boost any technology that gets plugged into, including her scepter. She plans to use it to shut down the Nemesystems bots and retake her empire.

However, when she tries to activate her scepter, a Nemex figure appears, rejecting the idea. Nemex's surprise is finding the controls and disabling them. The striker bots then trap Mission Force One and Gemma in trap coils. Aggro takes Gemma's scepter. Nemex tells everyone that the Dethalian empire belongs to him before breaking the scepter. Nemex then orders Aggro to lock Mission Force One and Gemma in a cell, as he has an empire to rule.

Once they're trapped in the cell, Aggro tells them that they will be there for a long time. Haruna tries to use his shock punch to no use, as the bars are too strong for the mission suits. Just then, someone approaches, and it is revealed to be the Dethalian Champion. Gemma tells him that the people of her empire deserve so much better. Miles tells Gemma that her empire isn't just her planet or her palace. Gemma's empire is her people, whether they're on Dethalia or somewhere else, and that's not going to change. Gemma likes the plan. To get Gemma's people to safety, they need to get into the hangar, where Gemma's big starship is. Miles tells Gemma to get everyone to gather inside while Mission Force One makes sure that nothing stops them from flying out of Dethalia. M.E.R.C. will go with Gemma. To escape from the cell, the Dethalian Champion is motivated by Gemma, and is told that a metal-faced fool will never best him, and he busts through the cell.

Mission Force One then deactivates striker bots before heading into the Dethalian shuttles to clear the skies. Gemma announces to the Dethalians that this is the time for them to leave Dethalia and establish their magnificent empire somewhere else. Although they are bidding farewell to Dethalia, they will find another. As long as they have each other, they'll always have the spirit of Dethalia. She tells everyone to get to the hangar, which Nemex and Aggro overhear. Nemex sees the prisoners escaping, and questions Aggro how it happened. Aggro has no idea, and Nemex orders the strikeships to keep any vessel from leaving the planet.

Mission Force One then launches their pulse rays to deactivate the strikeship while the Dethalians head into Gemma's ship. Once everyone is on board, Gemma launches her ship. Mission Force One deactivates the reamining strikeships, and the mothership then leaves Dethalia with Queen Gemma and her people, infuriating Nemex. Aggro admits that this is 100% his fault.

In the Zenith's hangar, Miles tells Gemma that on behalf of Admirals Watson and Crick, Mission Force One is honored to officially welcome the Dethalian Empire to the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. Loretta says that the TTA has also picked out an uninhabited world that will be perfect for the Dethalians to live on. Gemma thanks Mission Force One for helping her. Mission Force One then accepts her comet bump.
