"The Monkey Pirate King" is the second segment of the eighty-ninth episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on March 6, 2015 alongside "Look Out...Never-Sharks!", and is the second segment of the twenty-eighth episode in the third season.
Plot[]
Skully tells Jake and his crew that they've spotted the Jolly Roger. Cubby and Izzy assume that Captain Hook's crew have returned to take their treasure and sneak into the hideout. Jake and his crew then protect their hideout and ready the defenses. Later, they spot Monkey Pirates taking over the Jolly Roger. Jake and his crew then hear someone breaking into the hideout, who are revealed to be more Monkey Pirates. They throw fruit all over the hideout with Jake and his crew heading for shelter.
Meanwhile, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Sharky, and Bones are rowing a boat to the Jolly Roger. Once there, Captain Hook orders the Monkey Pirates to return the ship to him immediately, but they get captured. The leader of the monkeys, King Zongo, states that he always gets what he wants. He wants Pirate Island due to its hideout containing hidden treasure. King Zongo then heads to the hideout with Knuckles and Yo-Yo following while carrying treasure.
Jake and his crew go to the hideout's controls when they come across King Zongo, who introduces himself. He mentions that the hideout will make one rockin' monkey palace. On his orders, Knuckles and Yo-Yo capture Jake and his crew and kick them out of the hideout. They soon come across Captain Hook's crew and offer to save them, but Captain Hook refuses. In the hideout, the Monkey Pirates alert King Zongo about Jake and his crew coming back, and he plays with the hideout's levers. This activates a water cannon, which washes Jake and his crew away. The rolling barrels get activated next, followed by the gooey guavas. Cubby searches for a new island to call home when Jake tells him that a Never Land pirate never gives up. Jake comes up with an idea for his crew to sneak back into the hideout through Bucky's Grotto and kick King Zongo back to the jungle.
Meanwhile, Captain Hook's crew eventually get freed from the net and go to take back the Jolly Roger. Meanwhile, Jake tells Bucky to be ready while his crew send down some monkey cargo. King Zongo goes to keep a treasure chest safe. He may control the hideout, but Jake and his crew know where all the secret hatches are. Izzy knows King Zongo will go wherever his treasure goes, and uses her Pixie Dust on the treasure to make it fly away. King Zongo then spots Jake and his crew and decides to roll them back out when they roll the Monkey Pirates out of the hideout. With King Zongo as the only Monkey Pirate remaining, Jake and his crew retreat while Jake engages in a swordfight with King Zongo, who eventually loses his sword. He then ends up in the grotto, where it is revealed that Bucky captured the Monkey Pirates. Izzy tells King Zongo about his missing treasure, and he chases after it after promising to leave and never come back. Bucky releases the Monkey Pirates, who follow King Zongo. Sharky then spots the treasure flying and when Captain Hook gets it, it is revealed that the treasure contains bananas, which he hates. King Zongo and his Monkey Pirates show up.
Meanwhile, with everything ship-shape in the hideout again, Jake and his crew put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Skully then gets trapped while trying to protect his crackers in case King Zongo and his Monkey Pirates came back. It is revealed that they took over the Jolly Roger again, stranding Captain Hook's crew on an island. Captain Hook wonders how the day could get any worse when Tick-Tock the Crocodile appears and chases him around the island.
