"The Never Night Star" is the second segment of the twenty-sixth episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on February 24, 2012, and is the second segment of the first episode in the second season.
Synopsis[]
Jake, Izzy, Cubby, and Skully are looking at the stars. They find many shapes until Jake turns around and sees the Never Star. He tells the crew that it leads to the lost City of Gold on Never Land. They set out to find it. While they are walking through the woods in Never Land, Captain Hook hears them talking about the City of Gold. He cuts ahead of them and tries to slow them down by putting obstacles in their path, but they find other ways around the obstacles. Soon Hook takes a wrong path himself and falls down a waterfall along with the rest of the crew. Jake finds a rock, which the light from the Never Star is reflecting off of. It is pointing down a path, so the crew follow the light until it leads to another rock. The rock shines it right onto the gleaming City of Gold. Jake soon notices that by putting his sword in the way of the light the city isn't made of gold; it is just the light from the star. Captain Hook, however, doesn't believe him. He tells the crew to take every brick from the city. Jake and his crew drive him away by putting vines in the way. He thinks that they are snakes and runs back to the Jolly Roger along with the rest of his crew. Izzy puts Pixie Dust on the crew and they fly around the city, admiring how the light makes it look like it really is made of gold.
