Synopsis[]
Dominator takes a night off to explore a nearby city and makes an unlikely new friend, Sylvia.
Plot[]
Lord Dominator is running an update on her ship to integrate the Frostonium. Stuck at 28%, she tries to tell a joke to her bots, but none of them laugh as they need to be updated for it. She looks down at a planet that she wants to destroy, but instead decides to go down to it as it looks like fun. Putting on a disguise, and going by the name Dee, Dominator goes down to the bustling city and spots Wander stopping the flow of traffic to help three slug children cross the street. She decides to go into a karaoke bar instead where she encounters Sylvia fighting over the karaoke machine with a giant slug person.
Dominator initiates a fight that ends with her and Sylvia victorious. When the Boss comes out to see the destruction, the women flee from his henchmen throughout the city while also enjoying the sights. Dominator tells Sylvia her joke, which she finds funny, and she in turn shows her a view of the city after calling her her friend, something that is foreign to Dominator. They are confronted by the Boss' henchmen who take them back and he tells them that they must pay for it by apologizing. While Sylvia is willing to do it, Dominator stubbornly refuses. The Boss opens a pit with a monster in it and Dominator shoves him inside. Sylvia hops in to rescue him and asks Dominator for help, but she refuses; thinking that friends are to be controlled rather than listened to and leaves.
Wander suddenly arrives, revealing that the three slug children he was helping were the Boss' grandchildren. He saves him and Sylvia from the pit much to their relief. Sylvia acknowledges that "Dee" was not her friend and that she had no idea who she was. Wander reveals that he came inside the club and that he saw Dominator leaving it after tossing her jacket to the side and causing a three car pile up. Sylvia comes to the realization that Dee was Dominator this whole time. Dominator returns to her ship and tells her robots that she thinks that friends are dumb and that she is glad that she does not have to put up with them. As she sits down to check on the status of her update, it has only gone up to 29% as she sits and eats chips by herself.
