Synopsis
The Diaz family's charming former exchange student, Gustav, comes to visit and Star is convinced that he has an evil motive for returning.
Plot
Star comes downstairs to see that the Diaz Family is throwing her a "[47th] Day on Earth" party which they have been throwing every day since she arrived. They are suddenly visited by Scandinavian exchange student Gustav who excite the Diazes. Gustav explains that he was the foreign exchange student last year and Marco reveals that his family has housed numerous exchange students for a long time. Star is immediately put off by Gustav, mostly because he distracts everyone, but also because she disbelieves his fantastic stories he tells such as when he rescued a baby polar bear. The Diazes continuously voice their enjoyment of Gustav while he makes meatballs and announce that he is supposed to stay with them for three weeks.
The next morning, the Diaz Family throw a "2nd Day" party for Gustav which annoys Star and discovers books on Scandinavia in Gustav's backpack. She tells her findings to Marco, but he accuses her of being jealous. forcing her to spy on a sinister looking Gustav and catches him talking on the phone in secret, packing an ax, adding spices to his meatballs and measuring Mr. and Mrs. Diaz in their sleep. The next morning, Star reveals all that she has uncovered to Marco, but in her sleep deprived state comes off as delusional to him. He tells her that they are meeting Gustav for a picnic at Isolation Point: "where no one can hear you scream...with enjoyment." Star deduces that Gustav must be planning to fatten the Diazes up so that he can eat them and follows them out of the house.
Star manages to redirect the Diazes while she confronts Gustav. After a long chase, he catches up to him and he reveals the truth: he is actually Charlie Booth, a resident of Bakersfieldville where everyone and everything is boring. Wanting to get away, he posed as Gustav so that he can live with more exciting people. The phone calls were for his meat guy, the ax was for chopping wood and the meatballs were so that he can eventually open a meatball place in his town (though he refuses to talk about the measuring). The Diaz Family arrives and Star decides to cover for Charlie, on the condition that he leave immediately afterwards. As things settle back in, Charlie is shown meeting another family as a French student named Francois.

- This episode reveals that Star has been on Earth for 47 days, meaning she has been there for roughly a month and a half.
- Buff Frog makes a brief appearance, but only makes a small noise of surprise.
- Pony Head appears as a photo on Star's conspiracy wall of Gustav.
- Gustav gifts Mr. Diaz a "genuine" Viking helmet. However, real Viking helmets don’t have horns.
