"The Perfect Dream" is the sixty-ninth episode of Mickey Mouse and the eleventh episode of the series' season four. It aired on December 22, 2017.
Synopsis[]
A series of nighttime disturbances keep poor Mickey awake and prevent him from having the perfect dream of rescuing Minnie.
Plot[]
Mickey dreams of being a prince, riding a unicorn while singing "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" on his way to the castle to see Princess Minnie. He climbs the tower to get to her but when he hears a sudden Pluto barking noise, he falls down and wakes up from his dream to see it. He shouts at him to get out of his room so he can finish the dream. He goes back to sleep and hears a drop of water. After he stops the faucet from dripping, he goes back into his dream, but the shoes step on the floor and break it. He shouts and gets a broom and then goes back to sleep. He goes to bed and sleeps, hears the Big Bad Wolf on his motorcycle, Mickey covers the bedsheet in front of the window then hears Pete laughing while watching TV and talking on the phone to Goofy. Mickey grabs the pillow and covers the telephone. He just wants to have his perfect dream! He stomps and breaks the wooden bed, gets trapped on a spring, and smacks the floor as he sleeps. He dreams of seeing her again but he hears lots of loud noises again. He covers his ears but he doesn't sing with all of these noises. Then he gets and had an idea: he uses the unicorn's horn as a conductor's baton and taps it to stop the loud noises, which turn into beautiful music as he sings "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" again. She is happy to see him, and they kissed and lived happily ever after.
