Synopsis[]
Milo, Zack, and Melissa must work with their new friends Phineas, Ferb, Buford, and Baljeet to overcome Murphy's law and stop the Pistachion invasion.
Plot[]
The episode starts with Heinz Doofenshmirtz quickly recapping the events of Fungus Among Us and how the heroes need a time machine to fix everything. He then concludes they weren't the pizza delivery guy and releases them from his trap. Cavendish then reveals to Doofenshmirtz that in the future, he is know as Professor Time, the creator of time travel. Meanwhile, back in Lard World, Melissa, Zach, and Sarah encounter Buford and Baljeet, who are doing recon on the Pistachions and there were a lot of guards around an area called M.U.L.C.H.
Baljeet then recognizes Zach as one of the Lumber Zacks and Buford mentions he heard of the guards singing Chop Away at My Heart earlier. Melissa then has an idea to escape by having the group perform the song to distract the guards while having Martin Murphy create an opening using Murphy's Law. The kids escape but the Murphy family is left behind. Back at Doof's building, which is renamed "Professor Time's Building" for branding purposes, he reveals that he has already built a time machine so he could get an orange soda that was discontinued in the 70's for destroying the environment. At that moment, Perry the Platypus shows up and Francis Monogram calls to tell the group what was happening, but Doofenshmirtz hangs up on him since they already know.
Doof then explains to the group that his time machine won't work without an element called Time Juice which hasn't been discovered yet. Cavendish admits that Time Juice does exist in the future and was used to make clocks accurate and eventually led to time travel. This makes Dakota realized that the reason the Pistachions in the future were rounding up the clocks to prevent anyone from getting the Time Juice. Milo then remembers that Dakota gave him one of the clocks and it was still in his room. Suddenly, an air duct falls on the time machine, but Doof explains he can rebuild it, Milo, Diogee, and Perry then leave to get the clock from Milo's house.
Meanwhile, Zach, Melissa, Baljeet, and Buford run into Derek in his Orton Mahlson disguise and are soon surrounded by Pistachions. Derek then explains his backstory to the group and how the Dr. Zone franchise never existed in the changed timeline due to the series being cancelled after two episodes. He then unmasks himself and realizes the kids ran off and orders his minions to go after them. Meanwhile, Milo, Diogee, and Perry arrive at his house and encounter Pistachions disguised as his parents. They manage to get the clock with the Time Juice and return to the others in the rebuilt time machine. As Doofenshmirtz adds the Time Juice, Pistachions invade the building. Milo and Diogee distract the Pistachions while the others escape in the time machine. In the time stream, Cavendish discovers they only have enough Time Juice to get into the time stream but not out, meaning they would be trapped there forever.
Meanwhile, Melissa, Zach, Buford, and Baljeet continue to run from the Pistachions and encounter Candace playing a phone game. The group is soon cornered by Pistachions, but are rescued by Phineas and Ferb with a robot they made. Soon the group encounters Milo and Diogee and the robot falls apart. Back in the time stream, the group encounters the past version of Milo, Cavendish, and Dakota at the moment the latter knocked Derek into the time stream and dropped the clocks in the time stream. They manage to retrieve one of the clocks and get to 1965. However, they arrive at the orange soda factory Doofenshmirtz was planning to go to, which is just around the corner from the tv studio, and arrived a day later then they were shooting for due to Doof adding a cup holder in place of a day setting. The arrive at the studio at the moment they first escaped from Derek and are spotted and chased by the Pistachions. They manage to escape the Pistachions while Doofenshmirtz gets a case of soda.
Back in the present, Phineas and Ferb lead the group to a warehouse where they developing a plan to stop the Pistachions. However, due to Milo's presence causing problems, Candace decides it would be safer if Milo was elsewhere. However, Melissa and Zack see this and believe Candace was a Pistachion. Meanwhile, back in the time stream, Doofenshmirtz accidentally spills soda on the time machine's control panel and it malfunctions. He hits a button and they escape to the present day, but crash on an island. Cavendish then blames Doofenshmirtz for their predicament and he walks away. Orton catches up to him and the two sing about how much pressure of their respective future. After the song, the two are captured. Back with Cavendish and Dakota, the latter discovers they had landed on the island where he sent his paradox duplicates whenever he changed the time stream to save Cavendish. He tries to hide this, but Cavendish sees the other versions of Dakota and investigates.
Back with Milo and Candace, the two hide in a bush and are nearly caught by Pistachions, but Milo saves them thanks to his resourcefulness. Seeing this, Candace starts to believe she was wrong about him, and they regroup with the others after Zack and Melissa find them. Back at the hideout, Baljeet explains of a factor he calls "the Phineas and Ferb Effect", which has positive probability ions while Murphy's Law has negative ions. Since positive and negative ions can't occupy the same space, Baljeet believes they could surround Milo with Phineas and Ferb and aim the negative probability ions. After some analyzing, they construct a giant robot resembling Milo that could blast anything with Murphy's Law. However, the Pistachions find them and take them hostage. Back on the island, Cavendish discovers a village of Dakota clones, and Dakota explains Cavendish had died multiple times and he altered time to save him and sent the copies of himself to the island. After Orton and Doofenshmirtz are brought to the village by the Dakota clones, they discover they produce the same orange soda that destroys the environment, which gives Doofenshmirtz an idea.
Back at Lard World, the kids are brought to Derek, who broadcast his plan to turn everyone into Pistachions using his M.U.L.C.H. machine. Phineas tries to convince Derek they could live in harmony, but he refuses to listen. At that moment, Doofenshmirtz, Perry, Orton, Cavendish, Dakota and his timeline copies arrive and use the soda to destroy the Pistachions. During the battle, Isabella and the Fireside Girls free the boys and deliver their robot suit, allowing them to aim Murphy's Law at the Pistachions. However, Derek soon activates his M.U.L.C.H. machine and starts turning people into plants. The boys manage to destroy the machine, but their families and friends have already been turned into plants.
The Pistachions destroy the mech and chase the boys, Dakota, Orton, Cavendish, and Doofenshmirtz up a ride. While up there, Orton mentions he would write a memoir and Doofenshmirtz mentions he would read it At that moment, he says he would remember to read it and his future self appears, having read Orton's memoir. Orton then climbs onboard the future Doofenshmirtz time machine, but not before Milo give him the letter to give to Zach and Melissa. The duo then goes back in time to 1955 and destroy Derek's past self with the orange soda. This causes the future version of Derek and his Pistachions to disappear and everyone turns back to normal, except Bradley, who's arm is is a plant. While Cavendish and Dakota are happy things turned out well, they were still going to be in trouble with Mr. Block and the other Dakotas return to the island. Then, a statue of the Lard World mascot is flung towards Doofenshmirtz's building and destroys it, and he asks Milo if he could crash at his place. Milo, Phineas, Ferb, and their friends then watch the original pilot of Dr. Zone, and Milo tells Phineas and Ferb to hop by whenever they want.
