Plot[]
In the kitchen, Miles and M.E.R.C. are making the ingredients needed to make a Marsberry smoothie. Miles tastes one after it is ready, and it is perfect. M.E.R.C. wants to try one with Booster Bites, but that causes the drink to splatter all over the kitchen. Stella then informs them to report to the bridge for a call from Tomorrowland. M.E.R.C. slurps all of the drink to clean the room up the quickest.
The Callistos then call Admirals Watson and Crick. The latter has a stiff neck because he has been looking backwards to see what was going on behind him. The Admirals task the Callistos to find Spot, a Discover-Bot who recently went to Planet Trexor to gather information about the planet. Discover-Bots are sent to learn more information about planets, but Spot's transmitter must be broken, or it's behaving badly. The Callistos accept the mission. Afterwards, Crick can move his neck again, but stops when he stares at Watson.
The Callistos then take the Star Jetter to Trexor, but still don't see Spot. Leo decides to park the ship where Spot was last spotted. Miles decides to ride M.E.R.C. while Phoebe, Loretta, and Leo take the Scout. Loretta also tells Miles that if he sees any creatures, he should know so she can update her Bracelex.
After a short while, Miles and M.E.R.C. see Spot, and inform Leo of such. Phoebe tells them to lead him back to the Star Jetter. However, Spot refuses to move, and sends Miles and M.E.R.C. back with a shield. Miles believes that it must be waiting for something when M.E.R.C. lifts Miles up. Miles sees a very big footprint when he and M.E.R.C. hear footprints coming from a new species. They quickly run away from him, and inform Phoebe, Leo, and Loretta of the situation. They then head back to the Star Jetter, which the alien thinks is a toy. After the alien throws it, the Callistos hide in a cave where the alien can't reach them.
Miles is about to name the alien the "Grabalot" because he like to grab a lot, but Loretta was thinking more of "Trexian", because he lives on Planet Trexor. Miles thinks that it is not a fun name. Phoebe realizes that the alien was not looking upset when he chased the Callistos, and Miles assumes that chasing people around makes him happy.
However, M.E.R.C. shows the Callistos that the Trexian is burying the Star Jetter, much to the dismay of Leo. Miles decides for them to pick up the Discover-Bot when the Grabalot isn't looking, but then agrees on Trexian. Miles decides for him and M.E.R.C. to spy on him, and call Leo, Phoebe, and Loretta when he leaves Spot alone. Leo, Phoebe, and Loretta will dig up the Star Jetter while that happens. While Miles and M.E.R.C. spy on the Trexian, the Trexian finds another Trexian, which Miles thinks is his mother. The baby Trexian fetches a stick for Spot to grab, but Spot grabs a tree branch. Miles thinks that they made Spot their pet.
Loretta decides to put that information in her Bracelex, but Miles wonders how they will take Spot away, as that would be like taking M.E.R.C. away from Miles. Miles decides on a solution: since the Admirals said the problem was just a damaged transmitter, the Callistos can do the repairs. Leo decides that he can print a new transmitter.
After doing so, Leo and Phoebe tell Miles to head in the Discover-Bot's controls to switch the old transmitter with the new one. Miles and M.E.R.C. make it to the Discover-Bot, and after Miles gets inside, the Trexian is still chasing Spot. M.E.R.C. activates his Grav-Feet so that Spot gets a lift. Miles then replaces the old transmitter with the new one just as the Trexian grabs Spot. With the mission a success, Miles leaves with M.E.R.C., and tells the Trexians to enjoy Spot. Miles and M.E.R.C. then return to Leo, Phoebe, and Loretta, who have just finished digging up the Star Jetter.
Back in the Stellosphere, Leo and Loretta find out that not only is Spot's new transmitter working perfectly, all of the information Spot is sending about Trexor and the Trexians is showing up on Loretta's Bracelex. Phoebe is glad a Discover-Bot ended up being a pet like M.E.R.C. However, Miles thinks that Spot can't make perfect Marsberry smoothies like M.E.R.C. can. As the Callistos enjoy the drink, Leo realizes that his is looking like Booster Bites, and the drinks splatter all over the Callistos. M.E.R.C. than slurps the drink, and Miles realizes that M.E.R.C. added the Booster Bites on purpose to clean the mess up.
