Trivia[]
- This episode marks the return of Ray Ray Proud, Sr.
- The concept of the episode is borrowed from the Japanese film Roshomon, in which one story is retold from several different points of view, with each character (except Ray Ray) telling it a different way.
- Throughout all the stories, only Giselle's song remains constant, while "Muskrat Love" goes through several iterations: funk in Bobby's version, slow ballad in Oscar's version, and barbershop quartet in Giselle's version. Oscar's version is heard on the soundtrack album.
- Suga Mama finally admits that Bobby is not as talented as he thinks he is. Throughout the original series, she would constantly praise his singing talents. It's possible that making up with Giselle has convinced her to accept Bobby's talents as being less than.
- The Disney+ captions say "Old-Ass Suga Mama" when Oscar jokingly tells her what the "OAS" (Oats Are Supreme) on his box means. The show's crew members confirmed that it is an error and he actually says "Old As Suga Mama".
