"The Sound and the Furry" is the fifty-eighth episode of The Disney Afternoon animated series, TaleSpin. It premiered on February 13, 1991.

Plot

Wildcat's love of animals shows itself when he befriends several small, furry creatures. The animals, however, are wearing radio control collars owned by Crazy Edie, which, when activated, causes them to take anything mechanical apart... especially airplanes.

Trivia

• Crazy Edie's gerbil-like gremlins resemble the Boggles from the Adventures of the Gummi Bears episode "Boggling the Bears", that aired a little over three years before.
  • One of them resembles Gadget Hackwrench from Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, especially because of the hairstyle.
