However, Aladdin soon finds a necklace inside with a large purple jewel. Iago is excited, believing they can sell it, but becomes disappointed when Aladdin decides to give it to Jasmine. However, unknown to anyone, something inside the jewel is moving which soon causes a storm that creates purple lighting.
While Genie tries to stop the storm, Aladdin loses his grip on the necklace. Abu retrieves it, but is blown inside the chest along with the necklace, causing the storm to stop. Aladdin congratulates Genie, believing he stopped it, but is still curious what caused the storm. Returning to Agrabah, everyone arrive at the palace. Genie is excited about Aladdin giving Jasmine the necklace, but Aladdin tells Genie he wants to do it privately. Realizing the hint, Genie understands and Aladdin leaves, but Abu soon follows behind him. Iago gains another get-rich-quick-scheme where he convinces Genie to sell the spice in the Marketplace. Meanwhile inside Jasmine's room, she is busy brushing her hair, but soon notices Aladdin's return. She welcomes him back and asks of his findings, Aladdin surprises Jasmine with the necklace. Jasmine is delighted and decides to show it to the Sultan. However, as Aladdin, Jasmine, and Abu leave, Rajah notices a tiny cloud appearing, but is forced to leave as Jasmine calls out to him.
Meanwhile, Genie and Iago are at the marketplace trying to sell the magic spice. Iago suggests that in order for the people to buy the spice, Genie has to prove its magic. Back at the palace, Aladdin and Jasmine are showing the necklace to the Sultan. The Sultan comments the necklace is a wonderful wedding gift, believing Aladdin and Jasmine have decided they finally want to get married. Aladdin becomes slightly nervous and as Jasmine tries to tell her father the truth, they are interrupted when a large cloud of smoke appears. Upon disappearing, a gray skinned man appears. Rajah attempts to attack him, but is put under a frozen spell. The man walks toward Jasmine and kisses her hand, angering Aladdin. However, the man instead thanks Aladdin for both Jasmine and for unleashing him, while he introduces himself as Ayam Aghoul, a person of the undead.
Ayam begins to explain that he originally possessed the enchanted necklace and reveals that any woman who wears it becomes his bride. He further explains he already had many wives in the past, but when he once tried to place the necklace on a young sorceress, she trapped him inside for years until now as Aladdin freed him upon placing the necklace on Jasmine, making her his next bride to be. Aladdin tries to remove the necklace from Jasmine, but a bolt of purple lightning hits him. However, lighting or not, Aladdin won't let it stop. Ayam throws a bone which transforms into three skeletons. Aladdin and Abu break the skeletons by rolling over them, but then they see the bones reforming into a giant, three-headed skeleton. The Sultan calls the guards to attack, but the skeletons rearrange their bones into a cage trapping the guards. The three-headed skeleton grabs Aladdin and Abu and throws them off the balcony and grabs a worried Jasmine.
Carpet quickly flies outside and safely rescues Aladdin and Abu. Ayam begins to have the skeletons prepare the fitting for the upcoming wedding. While Jasmine is worried about Aladdin and Abu, hoping Carpet managed to rescue them. Ayam notices and sarcastically apologizes to Jasmine about Aladdin, but continues with the preparations. Jasmine and the Sultan are worried, but are soon relieved when they see that Aladdin and Abu flying on carpet near the balcony without Ayam noticing. They quickly fly to the palace gardens where Aladdin blames himself for what's happened and decides they need Genie's help. Meanwhile at the marketplace, Genie announces the magic spice to the people, making it appear it can do almost anything, while Genie is secretly using his own magic. While everyone is busy buying the spice from Iago, Carpet arrives and takes Genie back to the palace while Iago continues giving the spice to the citizens of Agrabah.
Meanwhile, Ayam shows Jasmine and the Sultan the skeletons stacking stone blocks in a pile, telling them that he and Jasmine are moving in. Aghoul then sees Abu riding a mechanical sphinx and goes after the monkey. When Ayam gets to the balcony, a pyramid falls on him. It then shows Aladdin and Genie on the roof. When Aladdin gets to the throne room, everyone believes he defeated Ayam, but it turns out he didn't. He tells Aladdin to look for a new girlfriend because he's going to make Jasmine live with him for eternity. He then shows him his three other skeleton wives, which may mean that Jasmine will become one of them.
Later, Aladdin, Genie, and Abu are standing beside Ayam's almost completed house. Aladdin blames himself for giving Jasmine the necklace and Genie agrees, which annoys Aladdin. Aladdin then realizes that the necklace was buried in the spice and that the spice was magic. He then gets an idea to trap Ayam again and asks Genie for the spice. Guilty, Genie tells the street rat that he and Iago sold the spice.
Later, outside Ayam's house, Jasmine is wearing a purple dress. While Aghoul tries to make Jasmine enter, Genie appears pretending to be the wedding consultant. Ayam wants to get rid of him and Jasmine tells him that it's an Agrabanian custom. Meanwhile, Aladdin and Abu fly to the marketplace to give the people their money back so they can retrieve the spice. Back at Ayam's house, Genie is still trying to distract Aghoul, but Ayam's had enough. He opens his door and is about to get in with Jasmine.
Aladdin shows up with the chest of spice and opens it so Ayam gets trapped back in. Aghoul shoots a bolt at Aladdin but misses, but the bolt makes a crack on the ground that is so huge that Aladdin cannot reach him and Jasmine. Ayam and Jasmine enter Aghoul's house and the door closes, with Aladdin upset. However, Aladdin sees Jasmine standing behind him and it turns out that Ayam took Genie instead. Angry, Ayam gets out of his house and shooting lightning bolts at Aladdin. Aladdin grabs some of the magic spice and throws it in Jasmine's necklace, which causes it to fall.
When Abu throws the necklace in the spice chest, a whirlwind emerges from the spice and sucks Ayam in. Jasmine's dress changes back to her normal princess outfit and Ayam's house disappears. Aladdin gives Genie the chest and tells him to bury it somewhere no one will ever find it. Genie slings the chest away, with Iago upset about losing the magic spice.
