Mickey decorates Mr. Doozy's bed and breakfast for a chance to win Alistair's Halloween contest.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Mickey and Goofy walking out of the Hot Dog Diner and meeting their friend Hudson decorating the restaurant for Alistair Coop de Ville's Halloween Decorating Contest, where the winner will receive a cool hat. Mr. Doozy walks out of the restaurant at that very moment, complaining that he has never won a hat from Alistair. Mickey offers that he and his friends decorate his house for him, an offer that Mr. Doozy happily accepts.
Mickey later meets up with his friends and prepares to show them his plans to make the house happy Halloween-themed instead of spooky, but nobody listens. Everybody puts up their spooky decorations, which continuously scare Mickey and Pluto. Mickey and Pluto decide to go to Hot Dog Diner to take a break from Halloween since no one will listen to his ideas. After the gang finishes decorating the house, they notice that Mickey and Pluto are missing, so they split up to look for them.
Goofy checks on Clarabelle while Donald asks Pete if either has seen Mickey, but they haven't. As they leave, Alistair arrives at both houses and begins his judgement. Minnie and Daisy find Mickey and Pluto at Hot Dog Diner, and he confides in them how nobody would listen to his ideas for a happy Halloween-themed house. They apologize for their actions and everyone returns to Mr. Doozy's house, redecorating it to make it a happy Halloween. Alistair arrives at Mr. Doozy's house and likes it, dumbfounding an initially doubtful Daisy. The episode ends with Alistair rewarding Mr. Doozy his hat.
