The Star of Astoroth is a magical object in Bedknobs and Broomsticks inscribed with the words for Substitutiary Locomotion: Treguna Mekoides Trecorum Satis Dee.
The Star is worn by King Leonidas claiming that it has been in his royal family for generations, but Miss Eglantine Price and Professor Emelius Browne attempt to take it back to London. Ultimately they learn it was impossible for the Star to exist outside the fantasy realm.
Background[]
Once belonging to the sorcerer Astoroth, the Star was stolen by the enchanted animals before they sailed away to the Isle of Naboombu.

- Worn by King Leonidas, the star is animated, however once Professor Browne obtains it, the star is portrayed in live action.
- An illustration in Isle of Naboombu identifies it as the Great Star of Astoroth.
