- “Tell you?! Tell you what is written on that very Table of Stone that stands besides us?! Tell you what is written in letters deep as a spear is long on the fire stones of the Secret Hill?!”
- ―The White Witch describing the Stone Table's purpose to Aslan[src]
The Stone Table is a large, flat table made of solid stone that resides deep within the mystical world of Narnia. Peter, Susan and Lucy traveled along with Mr. and Mrs. Beaver to where the mighty Aslan awaited them.

As Jadis arrives at Aslan's Camp, much to the other Narnians who are upset about Jadis' betrayal to Narnia, she explains that all of Narnia will perish under her rule as she threatens to have Edmund killed on the Stone Table to which Aslan decides to engage in a private conversation with Jadis about protecting Edmund. The other members of Aslan's army then murmur about what will Aslan do now about Jadis' decision just as he explains to the Narnians that Jadis has renounced her claim on Edmund just as the other Narnians associated with Aslan celebrate that Edmund is safe after all where Aslan secretly engages in a private conversation with Jadis in order to save Edmund by making this sacrifice.
At the Stone Table, various creatures associated with Jadis have been gathered to meet Aslan. Amongst the creatures gathered are ghouls, harpies, werewolves, minotaurs, goblins, hags, dwarfs, and other creatures who are waiting for the sacrifice to which as Aslan arrives, Jadis tells them, "Behold the Great Lion", Aslan is surrounded by various creatures preparing for the sacrifice. During the sacrifice, minotaurs, ghouls, harpies, wolves, ogres, hags, werewolves, and goblins are gathered to watch the sacrifice; Otmin suddenly knocks Aslan onto the ground with various ghouls, ogres, minotaurs, goblins, and other creatures tying him up with ropes but before they can kill Aslan, Jadis orders Ginarrbrik to shave his mane to which Aslan's mane is successfully shaved and placed into the Stone Table. With Aslan brought to the Stone Table, four hags bang their staffs while the sacrifice begins with wolves howling and other creatures snarling just as Jadis tells Aslan that he will fall under the tyranny of Jadis to which she tells them that they will take over Narnia after killing Aslan. Jadis then kills Aslan during sacrifice, much to Susan and Lucy's sadness about Aslan's death. With Aslan killed on the Stone Table, Jadis announces that Aslan is dead which the evil creatures celebrate the sacrifice. Jadis then alerts General Otmin to recruit the evil creatures to get ready for battle at Beruna and take over Narnia. All of Narnia then mourns Aslan's death with Jadis' army planning to take over Narnia.
The next day, Susan and Lucy visit Aslan on his resting place at the Stone Table as they continue the mourn the death of Narnia's ruler, fearing that all is hopeless just as the two plan to leave. Just as the two are about to leave, they suddenly hear a loud rumble at the Stone Table. As they return, they suddenly find out that Aslan has resurrected all along happy to see their ruler back to life. Aslan discusses that if Jadis knew about the true meaning of sacrifice, he discusses with Susan and Lucy that the Witch might have interpreted the deep magic differently. Aslan explains that according to legend, he explains to the two: "When a willing victim committed no treachery, is killed in a traitor's stead, the Stone Table will crack and even death itself would turn backwards". Susan asks Aslan that Peter and Edmund have gone to war against Jadis in Narnia, asking Aslan to help them win the battle which Aslan plans to bring in reinforcements by reviving the stone prisoners from Jadis' Courtyard to help Peter win the battle at Beruna.
Trivia[]
- Similar to the Cross that crucified Jesus, the Stone Table was used to eliminate Aslan himself; although he returned to life which caused the Table to crack in two.
- It is also similar to the Ten Commandments, for it has the law of the the Deep Magic.
