The Stories and Songs of Walt Disney's Three Little Pigs is a story/song vinyl album based off of the Silly Symphonies shorts The Three Little Pigs, Three Little Wolves, and The Practical Pig. Narrated by Sterling Holloway, the album's two sides begin with recordings of the songs "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?" and "Li'l Pigs is Good to Eat".

The album's retellings of Three Little Wolves and The Practical Pig differs noticeably from the original shorts. The most notable change is that the Three Little Wolves themselves (or at least two of them) are referred to as the Big Bad Wolf's nephews instead of his sons. Also, one of them, described by Holloway as "a good little wolf", acts like (or is actually supposed to be) Li'l Wolf from the comics, refusing to take part in capturing the pigs and actively helping Fiddler and Fifer escape near the end of The Practical Pig segment. Additionally, the climax of Three Little Wolves is simplified to Practical bursting into Big Bad Wolf's den and blasting at him with his shotgun, and in The Practical Pig segment, the two bad Little Wolves are the ones who capture Fiddler and Fifer in the swimming hole, rather than Big Bad himself.

The version of "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?" recorded for this album was later reused for the Disney Read-Along adaptation of Three Little Pigs.
