"The Sword and the Stone" is the first segment of the twentieth episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on August 26, 2011 alongside "Jake's Home Run!".
Plot[]
Captain Hook and Mr. Smee are looking for anything that might lead them to treasure when they stumble upon a secret stone door. They believe treasure is behind it, but they are unable to open the door. Mr. Smee notices the sword on the door, reminding him of the sword Jake has, and thinks it can open the door. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee then go to get the sword. Meanwhile, Jake and his crew are playing Pirate Ship Ring-Fling, and Jake uses his sword to free the ring from a tree. As Jake raises his sword, it gets stolen by Captain Hook, who makes off with Mr. Smee. Jake and his crew go to get the sword back.
Captain Hook doesn't want Jake and his crew to stop him, so on his orders, Mr. Smee goes to slow down Bucky. However, he slips on a brush, causing the mop to be sent into a cannon, which blasts the mop into Bucky's sails. Unable to cut down the flag without his sword, Jake uses Cubby's map to patch the sail.
As Jake and his crew resume retrieving the sword, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee come across Roaring River. They cross the log bridge before Captain Hook knocks the log into a river. So, Izzy uses her Pixie Dust on the log while Skully places it on its original place. After Jake and his crew cross Roaring River, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee come across the stone door. Jake and his crew soon arrive, wanting Jake's sword back. Captain Hook refuses and places the sword in its slot. However, the door is still closed. Izzy then finds a message from Peter Pan, stating that only a great leader will open the door with an enchanted sword and nothing more.
Captain Hook declares himself to be the greatest leader in Neverland, but he is still unable to open the door. Captain Hook decides to destroy the sword, but he bumps into Mr. Smee, and they are flung away with Jake retrieving his sword. Jake notes that Peter Pan gave it to him so he could be a good leader, which he is. Jake uses his sword to open the door, revealing a hidden tunnel. As Jake and his crew slide down, they cross the Forever Tree, which is where Peter Pan got the wood to make it for Jake. Izzy assumes that it must be very powerful. Jake is honored to carry the sword and lead a great crew. They then exit the tunnel with Jake promising to come back and check it out again.
Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Meanwhile, Mr. Smee leads Captain Hook to the latter's very own sword in the stone. It also has an inscription from Peter Pan, stating that any sneaky snook that draws the sword will get his due. Captain Hook draws the sword and declares himself to be the very best pirate in Neverland. He falls down a trapdoor while stating that he got tricked by Peter Pan again. Tick-Tock the Crocodile then chases Captain Hook away as Mr. Smee watches.
