Trivia[]
- This episode's premise and greater plot follows the same narrative as that of the DuckTales episode "Allowance Day".
- A close-up shot of Broadcast Sally's calendar shows the month to be one that both begins on a Thursday and has 31 days. However, based on which dates she has marked on the calendar as past dates on which she had done favors for Baloo, the month seen on her calendar is actually the month preceding the one in which this episode takes place, with the first week of the current month being visible in the very bottom row of her calendar. Both this bottom row and Rebecca's own calendars seen in her apartment indicate that the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of this episode fall on the 5th, 6th, and 7th of the month. Therefore, this episode takes place on the Thursday and Friday of a month that both begins on a Sunday and follows a 31-day month that began on a Thursday. Since the episode "Bygones" is set during 1938 (see that episode's article for more) and since the episode "Whistlestop Jackson, Legend" is most likely set both a little before and on the Friday of June 13, 1941 (see that episode's article for more), this episode would take place on the Thursday–Friday of either January 5–6, 1939; September 5–6, 1940; or June 5–6, 1941.
