Zeke feels intimidated by a primitive tribe called the Troggies, who can do everything better than he does.
Plot[]
Billy and Zeke are playing Zekeball (basically tossing cans at a bullseye). Billy cannot hit the target, but Zeke shows him up by proving he is best at the game. Billy compares his exploits to Schlomo Seedman, who invented golden mustard after failing numerous times. Zeke admits that he is looking for someone to challenge his record and Billy suggests asking their neighbors, the Troggies, neanderthal like creatures who live in a cave society. Zeke spots them playing a game similar to Zekeball that uses glops of mud. Zeke shows off his skills, but a Troggie tosses a bigger ball of mud at the target; besting Zeke's attempt.
Zeke, feeling threatened, starts presenting numerous challenges to the Troggies such as BMX, hacky sack and even a Zeke look alike contest, all of which he fails at. Frustrated, Zeke walks off and trips over a stone. He accuses the Troggies of laying it there to prank him, but Billy tells him that they would have set it up properly. Zeke suddenly gets an idea to make the ultimate prank to get back at the Troggies. After talking to Billy's ventriloquist dummy, they resolve to build an entire contraption to prank the Troggies and finally best them at something.
Zeke and Billy finish their giant machine and get the Troggies to come and examine it. When they fail to set off the trap, Zeke sets it off himself and ends up going through the whole machine until eventually coming out defeated. The Troggies appear to help him up, but reveal a joy buzzer. Zeke is sad that he never won at anything against the Troggies, but Billy points out that he did beat them; at losing. Zeke excitedly tells off the Troggies about "beating" them at something. The two play Zekeball again with Billy telling Zeke that he is "beating" him at losing, much to his annoyance. The episode ends with a in memorandum for Schlomo Seedman (1854-1953) reading: "Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man, healthy, wealthy and mustard".
