Mickey and the gang head to Sunny Gulch to hear Wanda Warbler, the best country-western singer around, who has a tendency to wander off.
Plot[]
The episode begins with the gang dancing to a song Mickey is playing on his guitar, country-style. Funny suggests the gang head off for Sunny Gulch for more country music, so they depart. Upon arrival, Funny tells them about Wanda Warbler, the best country-western singer around. Pluto hears her singing and runs off against Mickey's command. The gang follows Pluto and meets Wanda Warbler and Clarabelle. Clarabelle explains that Wanda Warbler is also called the Wandrin' Warbler due to her tendency to wander off, causing other people to lose track of her.
The show is about to begin, but Wanda Warbler is nowhere to be found! Mickey, Pluto, Minnie, and Donald volunteer to look for Warbler while Daisy and Goofy offer to entertain the audience. After Minnie is forced to rescue Donald from a bull, Pluto hears Warbler singing again and follows the voice, again against Mickey's command. Mickey tells Minnie where he's headed. Shortly after, Mickey and Pluto find Wanda Warbler trapped in a ditch and they end up falling in with her.
Thankfully, since Mickey told Minnie where he was going earlier, she and Donald find them. Wanda apologizes for wandering off and promises not to do that anymore. Minnie, Donald, and the bull help Mickey, Pluto, and Wanda out of the ditch and they all return to the theater. Wanda performs a song with the entire gang about the lesson she learned and the audience applauds. Later, the gang returns to Funny. The episode ends with Funny producing a souvenir to remember their trip and Mickey and Minnie waving goodbye to the viewers.
