"The Woof Factor" is the fourteenth episode of 101 Dalmatian Street. It premiered on Disney Channel UK & Europe on April 22, 2019 and premiered on Disney XD in the United States on April 1, 2021[1].
Synopsis[]
Dolly, Dylan, and Deepak are trying to become advertising stars, with help from Triple-D.
Plot[]
Triple-D (Destiny, Dallas, and Déjà Vu) wake their older siblings, Dylan and Dolly, asking to be pampered by the two. Dylan and Dolly inform Triple-D that they work all the time trying to keep the house in order, as well as the jobs their parents, Delilah & Doug, do (nurse & firefighter, respectively), while Triple-D's job (advertising stars) does not take any real effort. Triple-D are shocked as what they do is also a major source of income for the household, which they severely need right now as they literally need to put a new roof over their heads after Dawkins blasted a hole from the living room all the way to the roof, trying to develop a rocket powered elevator (something which Dawkins is still convinced could work). However, Triple-D discover that they double-booked for two commercial spots and cannot be in two places at once. Dolly & Dylan suggest they stand in for Triple-D for the second booking. Triple-D scoff at this, but Dylan points out they do not have much of a choice. Dolly & Dylan search for a triplet, asking numerous pups, but all of them are busy, forcing Deepak to become their third dog (when questioning whether anyone would realize the three are not Triple-D, they figure that humans cannot tell the difference between dogs anyway).
Triple-D go to film a Jump Jet Pizza commercial (since they have altitude training), while Dylan, Dolly, and Deepak go to film a Male Perfume commercial. Dylan immediately falls in love with the camera technology, Dolly enjoys all the attention and Deepak finds it comforting to be pampered too. The humans, who indeed do not realize that they are not Triple-D, prepare them for the commercial. They must stand on a tall cliff, looking down at a heroic figure who is to climb to the top while also acquiring a bottle of perfume. To the Dalmatians' surprise, the act of walking up to a single spot proves difficult with Dylan getting an itch, Dolly chasing after a golf cart and Deepak getting nervous and anxious. Meanwhile, Triple-D are having fun filming their commercial which they pull off flawlessly.
Soon, Dolly, Dylan, and Deepak seem to get the hang of it, only to realize the director now wants it thirty-seven more times, from every possible angle, much to their shock. During the next take, the perfume gets blasted, Dylan sneezes and the whole set falls apart. Dylan, Dolly and Deepak are unable to keep everything together, until Triple-D arrive, having completed their other commercial. They successfully save the day with Dylan remarking that they definitely have "the woof factor". At home, Dylan, Dolly, and Deepak pamper Triple-D for their work today. As soon as the new roof comes in, however, the three immediately dash off, leaving Triple-D demanding that they come back.
