- Justin and Giada mention that they have been married for 15 years, which would mean they got married in 2010. However, the original series was still airing during that time when Justin was around 17, if the series took place in that year. The earliest they could have been married was 2013 after the special The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex making this their 11th anniversary, as of 2025 because Justin was still headmaster of WizTech during the events of the special. This implies that the series/universe does not take place in the current time and is set a few years into the future, from the real world.
