"Third Wheel" is the fourteenth episode of the third season in Wizards of Waverly Place, and sixty-fifth episode overall.
Plot[]
Harper tells Alex that Stevie is a wizard after Harper sees Stevie use a wand, with Stevie erasing her memory, which Alex helps Harper regain. Alex then confronts Stevie about her secret and the two bond even more because of their magical abilities making Harper feel left out. Meanwhile, Justin and Zeke come with the idea to build a float for the school's homecoming festivities.

- Jerry makes a reference to "The Outsiders" when he says he was a third wheel to Ponyboy, he also made a reference to The Breakfast Club with the name John Bender (Judd Nelson's character). Jerry also makes a reference to the Star Wars character Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi when he says he was a third wheel because of Ben Kenobi. Also, This episode premiered on April 13 in Latin America. This is also the second time Jake T. Austin missed an episode in the third season, but he only missed two episodes in the first two seasons. In this episode Harper calls the boy that Stevie sent into a hole "Jeremy from Science, but "Jeremy from Science" was a goblin that Alex named that way to cover her wizard secret from Harper in the episode "Harper Knows".
