Thor is a minor character who appears in the television series The Little Mermaid. He appeared in the episode "Marriage of Inconvenience".

Role in the series

Thor is the son of King Augustus, and prince of the kingdom of Olympia. After overhearing his father discuss his partnership with Ariel in the Sea Games with King Triton, Thor gathered his sharks Gnasher and Crusher and traveled to Atlantica. Urchin was convinced Triton had planned to marry Ariel off to Thor, and he, Flounder, and Sebastian played various tricks on Thor in order to scare him out of the kingdom. Thor returned to Olympia and told his father that he had been mocked. This caused King Augustus to launch a full on war against Atlantica. The war ended when Urchin was injured. Thor approached Ariel and asked her to be partners with him in the games. Later, they participated in the games together.
