  • 1. If Elsa does get love interest (not in this film of course), I don't want it to be Jack Frost (because I don't ship Jelsa), I don't want it to be a girlfriend (because I hate lesbians), my idea is a man or king who has the power of fire. (As I'd say and I quote, "Love is between fire and ice")

    2. I was kinda thinking about something, I was thinking that Elsa's romantic feeling is locked and the only thing to unlock it is for Elsa to find out who she is, how she got the power and why she has the power.

My question for number 2 is: Is this true?

    • Not at the moment. I also agree with you in everything that you said. Now I’m not against the LGBTQs but if they really want a gay character into the Frozen franchise, then it has to be someone else. I mean, does it really have to be Elsa? I have an idea of a gay faun named Duncan who is being outcasted by his herd. He later meets Elsa and she befriends him. In a safe, kid-friendly way, the faun tells Elsa how he feels and how he wants very much to be appreciated and accepted by the rest of his people. (He doesn't say he's gay directly, he just seems to imply it). Elsa supports him and helps him get through his fear and find out what he's made of.

    • It's been confirmed that Elsa WILL NOT be having a love interest in Frozen II.

    • You're close; Elsa's sidekick is the fire spirit. Frozen II isn't about Elsa finding romantic love, but it does sow the seeds for it through Elsa finding her identity and choosing to pursue it. It's like Moana in that way; the journey before the journey.

    • But is there the possibility that Elsa is straight and not lesbian? Because I don’t want her being gay too. I just want a new character to be introduced as gay. Just like how they did with Robin in Stranger Things.

What do you mean by "kid-friendly"? I'm sorry, but no.

Kids need to grow up knowing that being gay/lesbian/trans is ok. As a matter of fact, when I was kid, I wish there was stuff like this for me to watch, because I spent most of my life thinking I was a freak for liking boys and that I wasn't normal because all TV shows and movies always depicted straight couples as the "normal" and "acceptable type of love".

Kids grow up watching straight stuff all the time, and definitely not kid-friendly straight stuff, and most people are okay with it, because it's a boy and a girl. Why is it so differently than boy-boy and girl-girl relationships?

I should also say that I don't care about whether or not Elsa will be getting a LI in this movie since I don't even like it.

    • Because it’s Disney Animation. They never address any of their characters as gay or lesbian. Disney might have gotten dark with Frozen 2 but they don’t go way down-low as for to address any character as gay. What I mean about kid-friendly is that they never make a scene where the character says “I’m gay”. They might go very dark or action-movie-like or suspenseful but they never get too extreme as to have a character say he’s gay directly. Instead of just saying that line, The character would go for the hints and clues for the viewer to figure it out for himself/herself

Yeah. Anna will have kids, and Elsa's got a whole new land to get to know.

    • I'm not big on gesbo's either, but to answer a few of the "this is phobic" or "it's normal" question(s), 1 word: Reproduction. This means making money by coming up with a prince and/or princess, by seeing what 2 favorites would look and possibly act like when joined together. Also, you can't make a whole with 2 holes or 2 poles. Seriously though, what makes people think kids can handle this stuff if adults still don't understand something as simple as gender or sexuality for that matter? I'm a product of being expose to that stuff as a kid, and let me tell you. I've been depressed & tried to off myself more then once, mainly because of that. So trust me when it comes to anything relating to sex, leads to some mental hangups. Just think people...

IKR!!!! What this person up here wrote-- I hat lesbians-- like SERIOUSLY!!!! People fall in love. Hey, person who wrote that, when you first fell in love (unless youre asexual or aromantic of course, which is fine too) scale of one to ten how hard was it to try stop loving them *insert question mark here mine arent working* Its not easy. Gender doesnt matter. I flipping wish that there was only one gender so that people didnt get hated on for being different. EVERY TIME at school when I play with a boy everyone starts GOSSIPING about CRUSHES. Every time my mom sees someone trans or non-binary or things like that, she says, What IS that. Every time I hear someone insult homosexuality I have the urge to whack them. This is just like racism. Is it ok to judge people for something they cant control *question mark*

    • DisneyMaster20 I must agree with you. I life changed by Queen Elsa and I have the same thinking as you about Queen Elsa's love interest. She deserves a man (not woman cause in away similar to your idea about lesbian, not hate lesbian, just that lesbian in kid family film is inapropriate and I believe Queen Elsa deserves a male love interest) that care for her a lot either that or she remain single. A man that as supportive, as caring and as unique like Kristoff caring for Queen Anna (Yes I use Queen cause I have watched Frozen 2 full movie) But Queen Elsa already found out who she is in Frozen 2, she's the 5th spirit that help connect the magic of nature and mortals, plus there's already a character that control fire and that's the Fire Spirit Bruni.
