  •  I have an interesting interpretation about this song.

According to my interpretation, this song actually depicts the disadvantaged: the beggars, the mentally retarded, the handicapped and others.

And like the song says, help the weak is a huge act of justice.

What do you think about that?

    • In another words, this songs is about donations.

      Don't you think so?

    • yes. about charity. christian charity too. meaning jesus taught charity and helping the poor and needy. he actually commands the rich to take care of the poor and needy. he knows they can afford to. in the song i think the old woman represents jesus, saying help the poor. help the needy. if the wealthiest americans paid more taxes they can really help the poor and needy. health care, mental health. the super rich should invest in their country. infrastructure, education, universal pre school.  they control most of the wealth in america more taxes is just tuppance a bag to them.

    • Benkenner,

Try to keep your liberal political nonsense out of this discussion. Rich americans should take care of the poor americans by paying higher taxes? Really?

      What a bunch of crapola.

    • Benkenner,

Exactly. It is a great way to show that the mid-class and poor and even homeless are just as important as the rich.
