  • Why were the Outsiders so loyal to Scar, he was obviously a VERY BAD KING? Not to mention how crule he was to his own family and how tyranical he was to everyon else.

    • Well, in my opinion,  the outsiders weren't originally from the pride lands. The were probably from the outlands to begin with and Scar probably promised them a better land to live in and more food, like he did with the hyenas.

    • That makes sense.

    • Well they could have been manipulated

    • The spotted hyena clan that knew Scar were wishful about avoiding starvation they wanted more land to run on, his rank might of been why these hyenas were tricked so quick. Scar telling the lionesses to hunt made the hyenas believe they'd never live poorly, and Scar being king first made them think they'd be safe, until he called them enemy himself. In real life it's lions and African wild dogs that the spotted hyenas fight the most quite daily with both, and the jackals once in a while. So the wish Shenzi's clan had doesn't surprise me. Scar's promise helped the spotted hyenas relax for while but then they were irritated he wasn't completely their friend. So surely some of the manipulation that happened did with management opinions that the hyena clan shared altogether not only how politely Scar said his promise. Spotted hyena clans run wider than their two shorter cousins the aardwolf (the short hyena who eats bug) and the brown hyena, it's the striped hyenas who are in northern Africa but live more up in Asia.

    • Well my guess is he manipulated Zira's group into liking him when he sent them out to hunt before the final fight happened or something

      Okay.

    • Maybe Scar was the only lion who accepted them for who they were.

    • Lions of the animated videos of the Lion King compared, my insight and love for nature, here's my opinion of the lions who've been shown in active scenes of the Pride Lands.

Kovu thougtful and loyal plus patient when reading his reaction shown to Simba

Simba Willful Arrogant plus suspicious when showing so many starving Outlanders hatred impatiently while most of them did nothing wrong . He's not yet quite a polite king.

Kion wise of friends and foes but nervous about his father would do to him if he didn't keep chasing every Outlander. Even his idea of letting other animal cooperate in the Lion Guard team made some sense but Simba still showed irritation instead of pleasure.

Scar Oh Yikes do what you must for your own safety when you're near this lion, Scar's a devious trickster who doesn't care about destroying any of the wilderness plus in his wickedness he willfu too. But with Simba serious hatred Outlander have no better choice for survival even if a better choice comes later. Scar's trickery clearly annoyed Shenzi at the end.

Mufasa one of the best lions in this whole family, admit the circle of life Mufasa's considerate, tolerant enough to handle his brother rudeness, responsible enough help the cubs the best can, indeed quite gentle. Mufasa's the one I've been hoping the next new king dwelling on Pride Rock will reflect the attitude of.

    • The big differnce between Scar/Zira and the Outsiders/Vitiani is that Scar and Zira are willing to kill of their own if they will not fight on their command, which disgusted the other outsiders. They would not kill their own, which is probably one of the reasons why they won't fight and rejoin Simba's pride and proved their loyalty to the right sort.
