  • Hey guys, now that we know what Alistair krei looks like, I had this crazy thought. MILD SPOILERS

When the first big hero six trailer came out, we know that Yokai is using the microbots (we know them as Hiro's invention.) to attack hiro with a transmitter. Which meant that he took away all of Hiro's microbots for himself.

And now when we see alistair krei for the first time, we see that he is very intrigued with Hiro's microbots and offers to buy them. But hiro is refusing to sell them. And by the look on Hiro and Callagan's faces, we can tell that they don't trust him.

So my crazy thought is....after Hiro turns down Krei's offer to buy his microbots, and after tadashi's death, Krei will take all of his microbots, and use them to try and kill Hiro as revenge for being rejected, becoming Yokai in the process.

Thats why I think that Allistar krei is Yokai.

    • Hmm, he does look suspicious, but that does not mean that he is Yokai. He could be WORKING with Yokai or Yokai could be that librarian-looking man on the side, who knows?

    • This could even be worked into a foreshadowing about Yokai's identity.

Hiro calls Yokai "Lord Deathstrike" in front of Allistair Krei, then Krei gets furious and shouts "DON'T CALL HIM LORD DEATHSTRIKE! HIS NAME IS YOKAI!".

Then, when Yokai himself has the same reaction to being called "Lord Deathstrike", Hiro puts two and two together.

    • Just watched the movie, and boy was I wrong about krei being a bad guy. In the end he actually turned out to be a good guy! This made me like him. In fact, during the end credits, I saw him opening up a memoriam or museum named after Tadashi Hamanda.

I think that Krei is the first character voiced by Alan Tudyk to be a good guy.

hes not really good per say. good person, yes. but morally? he knew the technology was unstable and was having disruptions, yet he still let her go into the portal. and it seemed as if he pretended nothing happened after that. hes like a nice yet morally unsafe business man, which makes him all the more layered and interesting.

I know that, but its great that he's on Hiro side at the climax.

probably becoz he was being threatened with death penalty.

And that makes both men as equally responsible for the wrongdoing, with Krei putting Abigail into deep space, while "Yoaki" Callaghan took revenge on Krei. I'm pretty sure that by now (and if Disney TV Animation gives this the green light, a follow-up TV show) Abigail will seek revenge on either her father, Krei, or both, and maybe Hiro... ABIGAIL COULD BE A VILLAIN!!!
