I just wanted to tell you Jon Faverau's Jungle Book 2 will have some unused ideas from the 1967 animated movie and have more stuff from the Kipling novels. I'm going to have to write Jon Faverau and or Justin Marks and ask them that you and I would like for it to have some elements from the 2003 animated film. And we can see if they will say yes or no to us in responds.
Good! Unused ideas like the deleted scenes and characters from 1967? I hope its that. I also hope they could include English imperialism in the movie. Could you also ask him if there is a "certain jungle party" invoved in the movie?
Sure. And I will also ask him if the movie can also have some elements from the 2003 The Jungle Book 2 film and ask him if Shanti can be in the film as well. Also I think Shanti should look like the version from the 2003 animated film. I don't care for her original look from the 1967 film.
Yeah. the 1967 version of Shanti is not well-written and she has a pink dress that symbolizes feminine color. The 2003 version of Shanti is more improved. So my vote goes to the 2003 Shanti. But she still needs to have a few changes in her: Instead of being afraid of the jungle, she longs to explore the jungle, thinking that her people should give it chance to reconsider of what they think of the jungle. But still, she's the apple in her parents' eyes and everybody in the village is happy that she's there, despite that they are struggling to harvest food and maintaing their clothes clean since the Englishmen are apperantly not giving them enough money to survive. How she ended up in the jungle, is because the first time she met Mowgli, he fell in love and wanted to visit her in her village but Buldeo for some reason captured him and ordered his execution. Shanti intervened and rescued Mowgli. She helps him escape and somehow she gets herslef stuck in the jungle, because since she defied an order, Buldeo and his guards went looking for her to arrest her.
I hope this can be the better version of Shanti
Yes it will get deeper, but no that deep. Neel Sethi won't be replaced, I assure you that. But if the sooner they start filming before he gets much older the better to keep him teenaged. Besides, I think that is what will make things interesting. He's mature enough to have a girlfriend and to have kiss scenes.
Hey! I saw what you wrote about Shere Khan, and it got me disappointed. You really think he won't appear in the sequel? Has Jon Favreau even confirmed it? There is still a way to save Shere Khan for the sequel
Well I haven't sent Jon a letter yet. But I will sometime and I need to know your real name which is your first and last name. Also I think if Neel's voice does get too deep for Mowgli i think they should get a different 8 or 10 year old boy to overdub his voice to make it sound younger. See in the two MGM Pink Panther Movies Trail of The Pink Panther and Curse Of The Pink Panther David Niven who was playing Sir Charles the Phantom he was too old to speak so Rich Little had to overdub his voice to help out. So i guess that can work out well for Neel playing Mowgli in the sequel.
No! They just can't replace Neel Sethi, he can still play Mowgli. I'm just saying that he should film his scenes sooner before he reaches adulthood. Also I like his new voice. It's not childish but it's smooth and it should stay that way. I heard his voice on social media. He doesn't need for his voice to be overdubed.
Another thing: The vultures definietly need to appear in this movie. Jon Favreau wanted to cast former Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr to voice two of them, but they turned the roles down, just like what happened back in '67. Apperantley they respected John Lennon's decision of not voicing characters that look like them. You know what? They're not worth it. Jon Favreau should better cast comedians for the roles, not band-based artists, but comedians than can sing. My top choices for the role of the vultures are: Larry David as Buzzie, Ed Helms as Flaps, Jerry Seinfeld as Ziggy, Bradley Cooper as Dizzy. and Jason Alexander as Lucky. What do you think?
I also hope that the movie has a scene where the animals have their first jungle party at night and they sing and dance and "Jungle Rythmn" and "W-I-L-D" can be mixed together in it. And they should put a new song that has a beat that is similar to "Hot Wings/I Wanna Party" from Rio
I did not say anything about replacing Neel Sethi as Mowgli. I said while Neel plays him on the set we have a younger 8 or 10 year old boy to overdub his dialoge so his normal voice would not sound deeper but much younger. You see overdub means the young boy would have to record over the original audio voice track which can be heard in the background or heard in the final film. And your actors for the vultures are pretty cool. And the songs you picked are wonderful. Remember overdubing is when this young 8 or 10 year old boy is reading Neel's lines for Mowgli and it makes it sound young in the final version.
I just don't think it's a good idea to overdub his voice. It won't sound natural. Imagine if Neel Sethi is seeing himself in the movie and what he's hearing is not his current actual voice. He would be angry, because it's awful. Anyone nowadays would get angry seeing this kinds of things. We have to let things flow naturally. Besides, I bet the sequel's plot will involve making Mowgli a teenager with his voice getting just a little deep.
Well my friend I think having his voice being deeper can be all right with me. I know I did not like it at first. But it's both your choice and mine. I guess we'll ask Jon Faverau if he might let Mowgli's voice be deeper or not. We need to see if he will like it or not. I do not want to argue with you about letting the voice hit puberty and overdub the lines by a younger boy but let's see what Jon Faverau has to say about it. He can pick which one will work or not. If he picks yours then i guess it's okay with me. But if he picks mine then it will not be okay with you. So let's just ask him about our problem with his voice.
It's all right with me. But i like it better when younger boy characters like Mowgli and Christopher Robin who are 10 years old have younger voices since i somehow don't like seeing other younger boy characters who are 10 or 12 years old have deeper voices that make them mature much quicker.
I also hope that it’s as long as the new Aladdin movie, like 130 minutes long.
Not only that. Since the 2019 remake of The Lion King is receiving criticism for lack of originality because the movie is basically the same thing like the original. But here in Jungle Book 2, I wanna make it big. Make it as successful as Frozen was and having some songs that people won’t stop singing for months. Like that party song I wanna add into the movie
I don’t want this to end up like The Lion King. Because everyone knows the story the songs and everything. I want The Jungle Book 2 to be entirely different with only a few elements from the animated 2003 Jungle Book 2. To make it a whopping success. I want the songs “Jungle Rhythm” and “W-I-L-D” to be in the movie. But I wanna remove some of the lyrics and replace them with something new, original and that is native to India and the jungle itself
More like we’ll hear an epic orchestral version of “My Own Home” which is Shanti’s song in the movie. Disney never adds famous songs from artists around the world into their movies. Everyone of their songs came from them. Hey John, it’s been a long time since we last talked. Have you made the letter to Jon Favreau yet? If you haven’t, then what are you waiting for?
