"Tick Tock Trap" is the second segment of the seventieth episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on February 28, 2014 alongside "Jake's Mega-Mecha Sword" and "Hideout…It's Hook!", and is the second segment of the ninth episode in the third season.
Plot[]
Cubby takes a photo of a coconut that looks like Skully for his coconut scrapbook when Izzy notices Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Sharky, and Bones. Captain Hook plans to meet up with Brewster the Beast Trapper, and Izzy wonders what kind of business could be done. Jake decides for his crew to stay and find out. Brewster then arrives, mentioning what he does for a living. Captain Hook introduces himself to Brewster, and decides to rid Neverland of Tick-Tock Croc while mentioning that he drove the mermaids from Mermaid Lagoon, chased sweet seals from shore, and ate a friendly monkey's entire supply of bananas. Brewster then decides to capture the crocodile, although Mr. Smee doesn't recall the crocodile doing any of that, and transport him to another land, safe and sound. Jake and his crew notice this, and decide to talk to Brewster and let him know that Tick-Tock belongs in Neverland.
Captain Hook warns Brewster of Jake and his crew trying to stop him, and Brewster leaves to trap Tick-Tock Croc while Captain Hook goes to take the treasure of Crocodile Creek. Jake and his crew then arrive, having overheard everything and stating that Tick-Tock Croc has as much right to live in Neverland as much as Captain Hook. However, Captain Hook mentions that Brewster never lets a wild animal get away. Jake and his crew then decide to talk to Brewster and stop him from trapping Tick-Tock Croc.
Jake notices the trap Brewster set for Tick-Tock Croc. Skully decides to take care of the trap while Jake, Izzy, and Cubby distract Tick-Tock Croc. Brewster then traps Skully, who is about to tell him about Tick-Tock Croc when he arrives, scaring Brewster away. He then sets up another trap for Tick-Tock Croc to fall into a pit. So, Jake and Izzy slingshot Cubby, who drops a coconut to reveal the trap. Brewster retreats again. Jake and his crew then resume catching up with Brewster.
Meanwhile, Brewster sets up another trap, this time placing an alarm clock in a cage for Tick-Tock Trap to be attracted to. Jake tries to warn him, but it's too late. Brewster traps the crocodile, and Jake tells him that Captain Hook is the real threat, as he wants the treasure of Crocodile Creek. Tick-Tock Croc can be scary, but like all wild animals, he'll be left alone if Brewster leaves him alone. Also, he is part of what makes Neverland special, just like Mermaid Lagoon or Skull Rock. Brewster understands, and decides to free Tick-Tock Croc just as his boat disappears, as it is being pulled by a boat that Mr. Smee, Sharky, and Bones are riding on.
So, Jake's crew and Brewster take another boat to catch up. Meanwhile, Captain Hook is free to search for the treasure of Crocodile Creek. Brewster, who can't believe Captain Hook boomeranged him into doing his dirty work, frees Tick-Tock Croc, and Jake cuts the rope connecting the two boats. Brewster then traps Captain Hook right after he gets a golden crocodile tooth, which Tick-Tock Croc returns to Crocodile Creek. Brewster thanks Jake and his crew for the help, and states that teaching Captain Hook to respect a wild creature like Tick-Tock Croc is payment enough for him.
Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Brewster then arrives with a rat. Meanwhile, Tick-Tock Croc is resting after trying to chomp Captain Hook, who Mr. Smee, Sharky, and Bones try to get down. As Captain Hook tells them to be careful, the crocodile, now with the golden crocodile tooth, chases them away.
