Timothy Walter "Tim" Burton (born August 25, 1958) is an American film director, film producer, writer, and artist who has worked with Disney on various occasions, starting his film career at the studio. He is also famous for directing Beetlejuice, as well as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the alien invasion spoof, Mars Attacks!
