Timothy Francis "Tim" Robbins is an American actor, director, producer, screenwriter, activist, and musician. He is best known for his roles such as Andy Dufresne in the prison drama film The Shawshank Redemption. His other roles include Nuke LaLoosh in Bull Durham, Jacob Singer in Jacob's Ladder, Griffin Mill in The Player, and Dave Boyle in Mystic River.
For Disney, he played Nick Beam in the 1997 Touchstone Pictures comedy Nothing to Lose, Voice on Film Reel in Cradle Will Rock and Woody Blake in the 2000 Touchstone science fiction film, Mission to Mars.
