"Time and Again" is the fifth and penultimate episode of the Disney+ streaming television miniseries, Ms. Marvel and was released on July 6, 2022. It was written by Fatimah Asghar and and directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.

Production[]
The episode was set during the historial Partition of India, which saw the country divided between Hindus and Muslims, in what would become Pakistan, and Bangladesh, and modern-day India.
Filming for the episode took place in Thailand. When the production team came across a mango tree, they chose its location to serve as a the cornerstone for Hasan's village. The village was designed by production designer, Christopher Glass, during quarantine, who was provided by a scale model of the landscape, as well as figurine buildings, for the layout of the land.[1]
The scenes of Partition consisted of an estimated 500 extras present, with historically accurate steam engines and trains, created by the production designers and the entirety of the art department.[1]
Costume designer, Arjun Bhasin and his team crafted every piece costume featured in the episode. While remaining faithful to what was considered period accurate, he was mindful to mantain individuality and a color palette to every costume, to reflect individual personalities.[1]

"Time and Again" was released on the streaming service Disney+ on July 6, 2022.
The fifth and sixth episodes were released together, theatrically and exclusively in Pakistan, between July 15 to July 21, 2022, due to Disney+ not being available in the region.
On July 14, 2023, ABC reported that the the series, would broadcast on their channel, ahead of Ms. Marvel's theatrical debut in The Marvels on November 10, with the last three episodes airing on ABC on Saturday, August 12, 2023.[2]
Reception[]
The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported a 92% approval rating with an average score of 7.40/10 based on 13 reviews. The site's critical consensus reads, "Time and Again" is charged with filling narrative gaps as efficiently as possible and largely succeeds, entertainingly relaying exposition without halting Ms. Marvel's momentum."[3]

- This episode displayed time travel through a causal loop paradox, differing from the rules established in Avengers: Endgame and Loki. This type of time-travel was first established and seen in the Marvel/ABC series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
