Tobias Vincent "Tobey" Maguire is an American actor and film producer. He is best known for portraying Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film trilogy between 2002 and 2007. He also voiced Lou the Beagle in the 2001 spy-fi comedy film Cats & Dogs and played Nick Carraway in the 2013 adaptation of The Great Gatsby. Additionally, he voiced an adult Tim Templeton, who is also the narrator, in DreamWorks' The Boss Baby.
For Disney, he produced the 2002 Touchstone Pictures film 25th Hour. He also portrayed Homer Wells in the Miramax Films picture The Cider House Rules alongside Michael Caine, an unnamed boy in Blossom, and reprised the role of Spider-Man from the Sam Raimi trilogy in the 2021 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: No Way Home.

- He was considered for the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. However, Ewan McGregor was cast at the end.[citation needed]
