"Together Again" is a song originally written for the third theatrical Muppet movie, The Muppets Take Manhattan. In that movie, the song was the closing number for the Muppets' stage musical, Manhattan Melodies, and serves as the film’s opening number.
While The Muppets Take Manhattan is not owned by The Walt Disney Company (as it was originally distributed by TriStar Pictures and is now owned by Sony Pictures, and thus it was not included in Disney's acquisition of the Muppet franchise in 2004), "Together Again" has been used in Muppet productions following Disney's acquisition of the franchise.
- An instrumental version of "Together Again" is one of the music pieces heard in the Muppet*Vision 3D queue.
- Notably, two other songs from The Muppets Take Manhattan, "I'm Gonna Always Love You" and "Right Where I Belong", are also used there.
- The version from the end credits of The Muppets Take Manhattan was heard in a video montage honoring Jim Henson as a Disney Legend at the 2011 D23 Expo.
- In the 2011 Muppets film, when Tex Richman learns that the Muppets have banded together again, Bobo and Uncle Deadly begin to sing a bit of the song before getting cut off.
- Later, Walter is heard whistling and playing the opening on a piano backstage.
- The song is featured as the finale to Muppets Most Wanted, performed by the Muppets and Josh Groban.
