Thomas Henry "Tom" Schulman is an American screenwriter, producer, and director. He is best known for writing screenplays and/producing drama films, such as Dead Poet's Society and What about Bob?. He also wrote and/or produced comedies, such as Me, Myself, & Irene and Welcome to Mooseport. Additionally, he directed the 1997 comedy 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag and created the short-lived TV drama series The Court.

For Disney, he wrote the screenplay for the 1989 comedy Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. He also wrote the screenplay and story for the 1992 Hollywood Pictures drama Medicine Man and the 1998 comedy Holy Man. Additionally, h served as executive producer of the 1999 Disney Channel Original Movie Genius.
