Thomas B. Kin "Tommy" Chong is a Canadian-American comedian, actor, voice actor, writer, musician, director, and cannabis rights activist. For Disney, he voiced Yax the Yak in the 2016 Disney animated feature film Zootopia.
Chong was born on May 24, 1938, in Edmonton, Alberta and attended Crescent Heights High School but dropped out to pursue a career as musician. He became a part of the group Bobby Taylor & the Vancouvers during the 1960s where they were signed to Motown Records. However, he was fired after missing a performance.
He would become known his stoner-themed Cheech & Chong comedy movies and stage shows with Cheech Marin. The the duo wrote and directed much of their films and appeared together in other film projects, such as Yellowbeard, After Hours, FernGully: The Last Rainforest, McHale's Navy, and Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil. His most recognized television role is the character Leo on Fox's That '70s Show. Chong appeared on other shows, like Miami Vice, Nash Bridges, Dharma & Greg, South Park, George Lopez, The Simpsons, Franklin and Bash, Uncle Grandpa, and Trailer Park Boys: Out Of the Park: USA. He also part took in reality competitions, like Dancing with the Stars and The Masked Singer.

- He originally was supposed to be in Disney's The Lion King with Cheech Marin, voicing one of the hyenas, but the producers and directors couldn't get in contact with him, so the hyena was changed to a female named Shenzi and voiced by Whoopi Goldberg.
