"Tomorrow" is a song from the successful musical Annie with music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin, published in 1977. In Disney media, it was used in the 1999 musical film adaptation of Annie. It is heard during the part when Annie sneaks out of the orphanage, finds a dog, names him Sandy, and thinks she'll adopt him.
Lyrics[]
The sun will come out tomorrow.
Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow,
There'll be sun.
Just thinking about tomorrow,
Clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow
'Til there's none.
When I'm stuck with a day
That's gray and lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And grin and say, oh!
The sun will come out tomorrow,
So you've gotta hang on 'til tomorrow.
Come what may.
Tomorrow, tomorrow!
I love you, tomorrow!
You're always a day away!
When I'm stuck with a day
That's gray and lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And grin and say, oh!
The sun will come out tomorrow,
So you've gotta hang on 'til tomorrow.
Come what may.
Tomorrow, tomorrow!
I love you, tomorrow!
You're always a day away!
Tomorrow, tomorrow!
I love you, tomorrow!
You're always a day...
Away!
