José Antonio "Tony" Plana is a Cuban-American actor and director. His acting credits include Valley Girl, Three Amigos, Born in East L.A., JFK, Lone Star, Pain and Gain, Miami Vice, Seinfeld, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Extreme Ghostbusters, Superstore, and The Legend of Vox Machina.
For Disney, he voiced Qapa in Elena of Avalor and played Rafael Hernandez in The Punisher and Victor Medina in the Touchstone Pictures co-production The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit. He also played Hernán Muñez in the Touchstone distributed Goal!: The Dream Begins. For Hollywood Pictures, he played Beniamino Rios in One Good Cop, and Manolo Sanchez in Nixon. For Hulu, he played George in Only Murders in the Building.
For ABC, he played Ignacio Suarez in Ugly Betty, Alejandro Perez in Desperate Housewives, Armando Rosas in Body of Proof, and Joaquin Alvarez in Cristela. For Freeform, he played Victor Gutierrez in The Fosters. For Fox, he played Robert Mendez in 21 Jump Street, Luke Ramirez in Bakersfield P.D., Captain Ruiz in John Doe, Omar in 24, and Ronnie Delgado in Lethal Weapon. For FX, he played Devante Cano in Mayans M.C. He also played Alvarez in the Touchstone Television produced The Golden Girls.
