Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder are Marvel Comics characters who have appeared in a variety of Marvel related productions such as Thor: Love and Thunder.
This version of the mythological Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder was created by Steve Englehart and John Buscema.
Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder are a pair of large Indigarrian goats. Because of this, they are incredibly durable and stronger than the average goat. They are capable of traveling through time and space at incredible speeds and have some slight flight abilities as well.
Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder appear where they are gifted to Thor Odinson, Korg, and the Guardians of the Galaxy by King Yakan of Indigarr following the heroes rescuing them from raiders. Thor and Korg ultimately split from the Guardians, taking the goats with them across the galaxy. They were soon joined by Jane Foster and Valkyrie to find and defeat Gorr the God Butcher.
Toothgnasher appears in the episode "The Devil You Know". He can talk and is part of a support group called Action Buddies Confidential along with Aragorn, Redwing, and Pebble. Due to an "impending lawsuit" he is incapable of talking about what it is that drove him to feel that his owner did not respect him. They welcome Devil Dinosaur into their ranks and proceed to go around town causing a ruckus. Devil eventually turns on them when Pebble leads the group into attacking his owner Granite's base and they fight. When Granite returns, he clears everything up between Pebble and they resume being partners again. He confirms that the same thing happened with Aragorn and Redwing, but it is revealed that Toothgnasher's owner seriously did not like him, saddening him.
